Works perfectly on the Surface Pro 4. My wife wanted something smaller to travel with so I got her this and she really likes it. The magnetic connection to the tablet and the ability to close it and cover the screen are bonuses. You do have to charge it and I can’t attest to the battery life but being bluetooth I would imagine it is more than sufficient for her needs.

This is fantastic and works well with the surface pro. It does need to be charged separately from the surface pro, but has great battery life and uses a USBC port so we can just plug it in on the phone charger whenever it needs. It’s a fraction of the price of the Microsoft brand and works just as well. Plus you can change the color of the lights under the keys which is fun

1 month in and very impressed! I was very leary of buying the "generic" keyboard option, but I am very satisfied with my purchase. the set up was very simple, easy and minimal. the keyboard functions great, my only note is, tapping the keyboard won't wake up the tablet like the original does.

Works as expected so far. good key press feel, nice click with each touch (if you're looking for a silent touch keyboard this is not it). setup was very easy and took seconds.

As several others have mentioned, there are issues with the mouse that make it nearly unusable. Solution: I found the mobee Type Cover keyboard available for older Microsoft Surface Pro. This appears to accomplish what this product advertises. It does not appear to be possible to use the F? keys normally. Example: no way to send [Alt] + [F11] to the operating system. No solution provided by the seller, although they did confirm they were able to reproduce the issue on their side. Additionally, if you missed it in the product description, the keyboard is wireless *only*! It can not be connected to the tablet or powered through the tablet- the only connection option is bluetooth. The backlighting is very odd. It does technically work, but the keys do not light like a normal backlit keyboard. The lighting is much brighter around and under the keys (rather than simply lighting through the character button). * Update: It has been over six weeks now. Seller did bother to respond to my review with something generic, but still has not actually resolved the problem and I can't get them to actually read the message thread or respond at all. I have reached out, without getting an acknowledgement, on Dec 19, 21, 25, 31, Jan 2, 3, 9, 12, 17, and Feb 10th. I suggest you searching for the mobee brand.

DO NOT BUY!! - works fine until the charger no longer fits snug into keyboard. I bought in Feb and by October the charging cable would not stay plugged into the keyboard with a firm connection (you know it is recharging when the red light icon appears) ony if I held it in at an awkard angle. Also needed charging too often (and the cable it comes with is wicked short!). Without enough juice the lit keyboard turns off and then eventually the cursor won't appear and lastly unable to type a word.

Very easy to setup. It works perfect with my surface 4 pro. Holds up nicely and allows a decent typing speed. It feels good to use easy yet durable. Excellent value. I just love it. It is easy to keep clean.
