The zero/reset function works well, although it’s worth double-checking readings if you’re moving quickly between tyres. Accurate and I like and dislike the auto on feature. It is handy to not have to remember to press the on button but is very sensitive so turns on easily by accident and then you have to zero it when you reset. We have large wheel arches and I struggle to fit this in as well, and it is difficult to retain the read when removing it to view.

It is cheap and does what is claimed. Any slight movement of the plunger turns it on, so carrying it in your vehicle will mean it will use up its battery quickly. I always remove the battery and put it all back in the box. It does need zeroing each time - but that is quick and very easy. I am trying to find out how the data port works. The data port is on the opposite edge to the battery compartment. It might be helpful for other applications to take readings automatically, but I can find no description. Does anyone know? The connector doesn't look like a Digimatic, so I assume it is not Mitutoyo compatible......

やはり正確な測定と言うか数字が欲しい。 価格が高いと買えないので色々物色していましたが、こちらが手頃かと選択 機能面では全く問題なく、また利用に関してはとても使いやすい 日々使う物ではありませんが、使いたい時にサッと使えるのは大事だと思います。

Habe den Profiltiefenmesser schon länger beruflich regelmäßig im Einsatz. Funktioniert einwandfrei und ist gut ablesbar. Der relativ dünne Messdorn kann auch in schmale Profilrillen bis auf den Grund eindringen und liefert ein präzises Ergebnis. Andere Messschieber mit breiterem Dorn verklemmten manchmal.

Très satisfait de cet appareil au prix très raisonnable. L'affichage est clair et facile à lire, mais si vous ne faites pas attention lorsque vous le retirez du pneu pour lire le résultat, celui-ci peut changer. Un petit point : j'ai dû réinitialiser l'appareil à la réception car aucun des boutons ne fonctionnait, mais cela est clairement indiqué dans la notice d'utilisation.

This is a handy device for keeping track of tread wear, which is difficult to judge with your eyes. If I had one on my trip to Akaska, I could have saved hundreds of dollars and down time at the side of the road, if I had known how bare my tires were becoming.
