I love Nancy’s books ! I can hear her voice whilst I’m reading . Her recipes are easy to follow and delicious to eat .

I just love Nancy and everything she stands for. This is a beautifully edited and printed book, that just invites to be read. But it's more than great exterior, it is still full of Nancy and her ethos. Sustainable, practical, homely and easy to follow recepies. Starring from family staples all the way though to deserts, simple, unsophisticated with focus on use of local ingredients and zero waste. Highly recommend, especially for this price it makes a perfect Christmas gift.

I found it went on abit and I got bored .

When you try a recipe online you get a whole background story but personally, I love the 'jump to recipe' button! Nancy is the exception, she has a remarkable way of enticing you to read every single bit and leave you wanting more. She gives you interesting information that helps you to make informed choices, without lectures, telling you what to do/think and puts everything across is such a kind and exciting manner. I got my little brown package the next day and flicked through obviously not starting at the beginning, hence was a little confused... then I remembered, this in Nancy! I now have a meal plan of buying local free range chickens and have the recipes to make every single bit of it count and we view it as treat rather than an everyday staple to our menu. I absolutely love all that Nancy stands for and each little tip I get makes me feel somewhat a little more wholesome in trying my hardest to leave as little evidence of my existence as possible.

Opened the cover, my first mistake! Spent the whole of the rest of the evening until the early hours reading it. It’s the best book I have read for years. I am soooo pleased I found this, so much so I bought every other book Nancy has written. They are stuffed full of useful info, tips, common sense and delicious recipes. Well done Nancy! And thank you.

Simple and delicious easy recipes made with clean ingredients ~ highly recommend Nancy Birtwhistles' cooking and cleaning books. There are measurement conversion charts in the back of this book if needed as well.
