Buggy and not reliable
Worked ok for a few months and then got buggy. I tried resetting everything more than once but it’s totally unreliable. Have replace it with a Schlang.

Simple and Convenient Lock
really easy to use day to day. No more digging for keys, just tap or enter the code and you’re in. Setup took a bit of patience, but once done it’s been reliable. Feels like one of those small upgrades that actually makes life easier.

Really like this lock
I really like this lock. My friend had a similar one before and I got to try it, and I liked it so much. Now I ordered this one for my future apartment and I’m really happy with it. It looks nice and feels easy to use. Overall I think it’s a really good thing to have and I would recommend it.

Don't buy it - go with another smart lock with better customer support
After 4 months the device stopped working. I have replaced the batteries, factory reset the device, contacted Yale support (who keeps passing me around saying I need to do all the things I have already done). I'm sure this is a great lock for some people, but the device I got does not work and is completely bricked. Yale's lack of product support is a great reason to go with a different lock based on my experience.

Easy to use. Reliable. Does it's job.
We got this lock as we were going to have an extended guest. It is very easy to program. I like being able to program fingerprints as they cannot be shared with strangers. I also like being able to have it autolock after 5 minutes in case someone forgets to lock the door. My one complaint is that I wish I could temporarily disable someone without having to completely remove the user. So far, it has been very reliable.

Very well built and worth the money.
Very solid construction, works flawlessly, a little expensive but you are getting your moneys worth. I have a smart home, everything is controlled by app/voice or motion and I also have the latest Wi-Fi 7 mesh router with all the lanes. When installing this I could not get the wi-fi to work for the life of me. 3 months and still no wi-fi but the lock itself worked beautifully, as long as you where home. I found out that my 5ghz band was running both 2.4 and 5 at the same time and would switch back and fourth to whatever product needed. THIS LOCK WILL NOT USE THE 5ghz bandwidth. If you have the newest mesh router system they usually have 3 ways to connect. 5ghz, 6ghz and 7ghz and the 5ghz band uses both 2.4 and 5. When connecting this lock to your system TURN OFF 5GHZ AND JUST RUN 2.4GHZ or the lock will not connect. once it's connected you can turn your 5ghz back on and the lock will work normally.

We absolutely love our Yale lock! Installation was quick and easy, and we were able to connect it seamlessly to our smart home devices. The fingerprint scanner makes locking and unlocking the door effortless, and the auto-unlock feature when we pull into the driveway is a game changer—especially when carrying groceries. Overall, this lock is a fantastic addition to our home. It’s convenient, secure, and works flawlessly. Highly recommend!

This lock is easy to install and the app works perfectly. So nice to have all the different options to open the door especially being able to send someone a temporary pass.

Compre este producto y solamente trabaja con la app de USA y no con la de México. Fue un relajo poder descargar la otra aplicación y al final funcionó. Hace mucho ruido al abrir o cerrar electrónicamente

Purchased the lock October 2025 and by January the batteries died. We though maybe the batteries were no good, but by February the new batteries died too. Contacted Yale customer service early March and they didn't want to replace the unit. Instead, they wanted to send a wifi bridge to see if the wireless unit inside was faulty. I hate this idea because I'd now need to have an extra wifi device plugged into an outlet. Regardless, we waited for the part, intending to ask for a new lock once we confirmed the fault was the wifi component. The part arrived by FedEx the following week and they wanted $27 because it had shipped from the USA. We declined since Yale said nothing about covering that fee, so the part got returned to sender. Called 3 times this week to figure out the next steps with Yale and they aren't answering their lines, or are experiencing long wait times. In theeantime, we spent hundreds on a lock that now has no power and needs a key to open. I would not order from this company again. Stuck for now trying to get the current unit repaired or replaced on warranty.
