I can't say if I like this thing or not. I bought it to help me hear people better at group meetings, and I have not been to any since I bought it. My issue is that I have tinitus or what ever it is called. I have a constant noise like a small fan going on in my ears all the time that makes it difficult for me to hear some people who talk in a very quiet way. Loud sounds are the same as they have always been, which is just fine. I have tried it at home just to test it, and I really do not like using it. I think this one is probably as good as any other hearing amplifier. I bought an amplifier because I really do not want to walk around wearing hearing aids in my ears. I guess on this response I sound like an old grouch, I really am not a grouch, I am enjoying living a long time. I am only 74 years old and I am healthy, and I really enjoy taking my dog for walks. I can hear her bark just fine without an amplifier. I hope you are having a nice day. HAPPY LISTENING

Almost continuously squealing. Set at the lowest level still has to be labeled LOUD. Nothing worthwhile about the waste of money 💰.

This item is new to me and for two evenings I heard T.V. perfectly with the volume on the T.V. at a much lower setting. Next the acid test: I had attended classes in the same large room several times before and missed hearing significant parts of the class even though the teachers used microphones and I sat very close up to where the teacher was located. Not hearing all of it made me feel both sad and frustrated. With this device I sat at the very back of the room, adjusted the levels for the ears individually and I DID NOT MISS ONE WORD OF WHAT WAS BEING SAID! Being able to hear all that was said meant everything to me and I actually felt like crying from the joy of it. My husband suggested maybe getting another one to save for later! And in case you wonder about customer service: Christian and John are great!

Just an awkward device, tried it for a few days have to return it just way too awkward. Sorry guys.

Liked most- comfort in ears while watching tv. Clear sound.
