Core™ i7-14700K Desktop Processor 20 cores (8 P-cores + 12 E-cores) up to 5.6 GHz

When I saw online that the CPU was 30% better than my i7 9700k I was very hesitant to buy until recently I got the oppurtunity when my expensive motherboard broke. It turns out this is not 30% faster... but more than 300%. The benchmarks I get are insane and the price was only 50 more dollars than when I bought the 9700k brand new around 2020.

Wonderful processor, my copy passed tests at 1.28v and original frequency of 5.5. Temperature did not go beyond 78 degrees Celsius, 2-section liquid cooling. About 200 watts of consumption. No freezes in games paired with DDR5-6400. For $ 330 this is the best choice, 7800X3D now looks stupid for $ 460

I'm a developer and use the CPU primarily for performance. You may have seen people complaining on degradation issues with the CPU but I can say that mine has no such issue. Intel says to make sure the bios is up to date (which you should do anyways) and I made sure to have the updated bios on the initial load of the PC. Now I have a clue that run 35% better in almost all the benchmarks as an equivalent AMD chip for under $300. Very glad this was discounted. The current price is still a steal for performance. If you don't know how to update a bios, don't build a computer

Saw a lot of reviews that it runs hot. Comparing it to my i5-13600k my i7 MAYBE runs 5 degrees hotter. As long as you have a solid AIO and a well known thermal paste to apply it works perfectly

bought this cpu on a sale for 280 usd as a drop in replacement for a 12600k on a z690 board. Using the latest bios with the microcode fixes everything seems to be stable. Needs a lot of cooling to unlock all its potential, with a 240 aio im leaving perfomance on the table because of cooling. I strongly reccomend a lga 1700 contact frame for better temps. all in all I recommend this cpu for existing lga 1700 owners if the price is right (300 usd or lower) if you are building a new system for gaming maybe am5 is a better choice.

This thing is beautiful, powerful and perfect for anything I need for edits, creation, gaming and sooooo much more. Runs a little hot while idle is the only complaint but nothing dangerous, with good AIO you'll be in good hands with this CPU. It's fast, It's smooth with handling multiple tasks and best yet... it's gonna last me a few years minimum, future proof for sure

Upgraded from 12600k so I could utilize the same motherboard and RAM but mainly to benefit a newer GPU. Normal PC usage feels the same, but the temps are much higher. I'm comfortable using this generation now after Intel pushed all their microcode fixes. Haven't ran across issues or instability and overall happy with it.

Extremely unstable processor. Tried on 2 different motherboards, with 4 different sets of DDR5 RAM, would not hold XMP profiles, u.less I would increase the voltages, but I wouldn't feel comfortable doing so due to longevity issues. Most likely it is down to single example being really bad, but nonetheless, very unhappy. Returned

Processeur extrêmement performant a un prix restant contenu. TechPowerUp dit que c'est un 14900K killer. Il offre des performances extrêmement proches en chauffant et coutant beaucoup moins. Pour moi c'est un excellent choix et je pense que je ne suis pas près de voir ses limites. Il me durera sûrement de nombreuses années. Bien penser a flasher sa carte mère avec le tout dernier BIOS avant de monter le processeur, puis se mettre en ''Intel Defaults'' dans le BIOS pour éviter tout problème de dégradation du processeur.

Por enquanto tudo certo, muito rápido e muito bom tanto pra jogo quanto multitarefa, use-o com um water cooler de qualidade e forte, uso com um icue link h150i e não passa de 70 graus na maioria dos jogos.

El i7-14700K ofrece un rendimiento excelente tanto en juegos como en multitarea. Sus 20 núcleos se notan en fluidez y velocidad, y va perfecto con una buena refrigeración. Instalación sencilla en LGA1700 y sin problemas de compatibilidad. Una opción de gama alta muy recomendable por su relación calidad-precio.
