These are amazing. We received several for the kids as gifts and even with four kids playing at the same time, different songs (you can imagine), it was like a soothing spa. My kids (ages 6-12) learned to play songs easily and the sound is lovely and pleasant. We ended up buying one for their cousin too. Super fun gift!

My Grandkids love this drum and find it fun to play. My G’son even wrote a song and researched the history of it and gave a report at school on it. The sound is great quality. I was hoping he’d leave it here for me to try out but nope he loves it too much. The sound is good and it has some music that comes with it. The case is nice and durable and makes it easy to transport. As a gift it was a good one for them and a reasonable cost.

Great instrument, very Zen! Sounds great, musical book that came with it was easy to follow. I am 65 years old and even I was able to learn how to play songs. Looks great even sitting out on my table so I can enjoy playing anytime. Makes for a great conversational piece as well, company loves to try it.

Beautiful exterior and mellow sounds that are calming. It was fun to dabble with it and easy to carry from one place to another.

This drum is attractive and comes equipped with a stand and cover and drumsticks. My first reaction was to marvel at its appearance because it is quite beautiful. When I started to practice playing I found it very hard to get a good sound from the drum. Some places produced a good sound; other areas did not. It seems to have been designed for beginners, and I am one, but I don't have anyone to ask around me for help in making this work well.

I am new to tongue drums. I purchased the 13 inch Lotus in navy blue (15 Tongues). I wanted versatility to improvise or play songs, and this did both. I was prepared to be disappointed, but when I opened the box, I was blown away. The drum is stunning, and what is even more important, the sound is wonderful.The little holes on the larger tongues of the Lotus give added undertones, a feature often seen in high end expensive drums. I downloaded the panotuner free app, and the notes were far more in range than I was expecting based on other reviews. My husband had no idea what I had just received, but when I struck just a few notes with the included mallets, he was a fan. The bag I received was perfectly good, even quite nice, so I don’t know if it has recently been improved, but no complaints here. Also, the included instruction booklet is made of high quality paper and included a big song variety to get you started. It is not a simple pamphlet as others include. Definite value added there. So I highly recommend this one, and I see myself picking up more to give as gifts.

Really cool tongue drum. I like that it is larger than most others offered. It has a great sound and is fun to play. The mallet is durable. I would like the carrying case to be more durable. The case is a very light cream color which means it gets dirty easy. Makes a great gift though and sounds like a quality instrument.

Es macht Spaß mit der Trommel Musik zu machen. Dank des reichhaltigen Zubehörs inklusive Notenheft kann man gleich loslegen. Ich persönlich hätte es allerdings vorgezogen wenn statt der Zahlen die Notenbuchstaben zur Orientierung angebracht worden wären.

It is as good and better and for less price than a Balmy drum

Klingt gut. Hatte zwei preislich ähnliche Zugentrommeln bestellt. Diese klingt deutlich besser als die andere und darf bleiben.
