Great performance and nearly silent for the price
I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and ease of installation of this cooler. I’m using it on an i5-10500, and even when stress-tested to 100% load using s-tui, it keeps temperatures in the mid-50s°C. I configured the fan profile to stay at low speeds, and it remains practically silent under load. For the connections, the fans use a standard 4-pin plug for the fan header, and the pump connects to the motherboard’s AIO/Pump header via a 3-pin plug. For the price, it’s a perfect choice for a mid-range build.

“Powerful cooling performance - unbeatable for the price!”
This liquid CPU cooler is fantastic! The three fans do an excellent job of keeping my system cool, even during heavy gaming or demanding workloads. It’s efficient and performs reliably, plus it looks great in my setup. It is just slightly noisier than some of the higher-end, more expensive models, but only by a small margin—not enough to be a dealbreaker. For the price and performance, it’s an excellent choice that balances quality and affordability.

highly compelling budget AIO
🧩 Overview & Key Specs 240 mm radiator, dimensions ~276 × 120 × 27 mm; rated for 300 W TDP. Pump speed ≈ 2,900 RPM, flow ~116 L/h with rated noise < 25 dBA. Includes Intel & AMD mounting brackets, pre‑installed fans with daisy‑chain cables, and non‑RGB CD‑pattern pump head. ✅ Cooling Performance & Temperature Control excellent temperature drops: idle ~40‑50 °C and load mid‑50s to low‑60s on CPUs like Ryzen 7 and Core i9 stress tests keep temps below ~55 °C, with massive reductions (~15 °C vs air coolers) . Built-in pump and fans enable significant improvements even under 300 W workloads. 🔇 Noise & Acoustics Pump noise can be audible at startup, often due to trapped air before settling down. Stock fans are decent, but louder at full RPM—many opt for quieter third‑party fans (e.g., Arctic P12). 🛠 Installation & Build Quality Straightforward setup with Asetek-compatible mounts, complete mounting hardware, and included thermal paste. Features smart cable management—fan daisy‑chain connectors reduce clutter . Overall, reviewers praise its sturdy build and minimalist style. 💸 Value & Drawbacks Pros: Outstanding value (~£50–£65 / CAD $80) for high-end 240 mm AIO performance. Excellent temperature control with easy installation and minimal fuss. Subtle, sleek design (available in black or white) suits stealth builds. cons: Pump noise at startup may be bothersome until the cooler primes. Fan noise under full load—some users swap them for quieter ones. Radiator length requires a reasonably spacious case; small cases may have mounting limits. No RGB lighting—a positive for some minimalists, a negative for others. 🧠 Final Verdict The ID‑COOLING FX240 PRO is a highly compelling budget AIO, delivering: Excellent cooling efficiency for 300 W CPUs. Negligible bling, favoring sleek design. Easy install and tight cable management. Strong value—cooling rivaling pricier models. ⚠️ Be aware of initial pump noise and moderately loud fans at peak RPM. If you're aiming for near-silent performance, consider swapping fans and optimizing pump/fan curves in BIOS. 🔧 Tips to Maximize It Run the system for 10‑15 minutes to settle air bubbles and reduce pump noise. Use BIOS or motherboard controls to lower pump/fan RPM if acoustics matter. Replace stock fans (e.g. Arctic P‑series) for quieter operation without losing performance. Ensure your case supports a 276 mm radiator with clearance. ✅ Who Should Buy This? Gamers and power users needing serious cooling performance without RGB or price tag. Builders preferring a clean, minimalist aesthetic. Anyone upgrading from air coolers desiring silent efficiency with minor tweaks. 🔍 Alternatives to Consider Seeking truly silent operation? A 240 mm AIO with quieter fans, or a high-end air cooler like Noctua NH-D15 may suit. Want RGB or 360 mm coverage? Consider ID‑COOLING’s FX360 PRO or similar AIOs with larger radiators or lighting.

FX240 PRO — Simple, Solid, Silent
I previously had an Arctic Freezer III in my build and when the pump failed, I decided it was a good opportunity to explore other options. I went with the FX240 PRO, having been impressed with ID-Cooling products in the past, and I’m genuinely glad I did. **Look:** The cooler looks excellent in the case. Clean, understated, and premium without being over the top. The tubing and pump housing in particular give off a much higher-quality impression than the AIO it replaced. **Fit:** Installation was considerably easier than the Arctic Freezer III. Everything lined up perfectly, the mounting process was straightforward, and the daisy-chained fans made cable management far simpler than expected. **Functionality:** The daisy-chained fans are a great touch, making header connections quick and tidy. After around 30 minutes of runtime, it’s already noticeably quieter than my previous AIO while maintaining solid performance. **Size:** The 240mm form factor fits comfortably in the case with no clearance issues, and the tubing is flexible without feeling flimsy, which made positioning stress-free. Overall, I’m really, really pleased with the purchase. It feels like a meaningful upgrade in build quality, ease of installation, and noise levels — exactly what I was hoping for when switching AIOs.

Very impressed and highly recommend.
Did a bit of research and found this to be one of the best bang for the buck AIO's on the market and I've got to say it's exceeded my expectations. I didn't want RGB etc so this was ideal. Daisy chained fans so minimal wiring. Extremely easy to install. Slightly noisy on first use but this is very common with AIO's for the first while as the coolant settles and all the air bubbles work their way out. Much quieter than my old nzxt kraken. It has been flawless since. It's now cooling my 9800x3d and keeps it well below 70 degrees 99% of the time.

Disapointing
Failed after less than 100 hrs use, thought it may be an air bubble but if it was I could not get it move so returned. Good job the cpu throttles and shuts down to protect itself or could have been very expensive. Disappointing as the unit seemed reasonable quality for the money.

Was as described from the Amazon warehouse
This is the only thing I've bought from the Amazon warehouse that has not had a problem. This, for me, was 20% price reduction and all of the bits were in the box. Fitted it to my new build on an AMD Ryzen 7 9800x3d and seems to cool the chip without issue. This was a good purchase and does the job.
