Fast shipping my husband found a YouTube video how to fix his ladder and you know ladder are very expensive so he was able to save his ladder with this part that when coworker notice he had ask my husband to fix his as well and we did we had to order a second part again and the product heavy duty easy to install and great price to save a 300 dollar ladder I think it was a 40 ft ladder my husband need fixing

A donated extension ladder had these flappers broken, rendering the ladder very difficult if not impossible to retract after extension. Amazingly, Amazon had a repair kit that fit perfectly. Hardest part was drilling out the factory rivets to get the broken original pieces off the ladder. Kit comes with bolts to replace the rivets, locknuts, and springs to make the flippers stay put. After repair, ladder retracts properly and easily.

The product is decent overall, but it didn’t fit my old ladder perfectly. It was a bit tight on the rungs, which caused some jamming. It’s not truly universal as advertised. However, I was able to use parts from this one to repair my old ladder, and in the end it worked out.
