Due to sensitive gums, I'd been using a small-child toothbrush, which feels great but doesn't clean well enough. These bamboo/horsehair toothbrushes are WONDERFUL -- soft enough and yet they DO clean well. I had debated whether to try one with boar bristles, which I read are somewhat firmer than the horsehair, but I am 100% happy with the horsehair. I love the green packaging also. It's beautiful.

Bought these a few months ago. They need to be aired out or they grow mold, which to me is a good sign because it means they don’t have any chemicals keeping them from molding and that they are truly eco-friendly not greenwashed marketing. They clean teeth well and have softer bristles than boar hair. Sometimes after many uses a couple hairs will fall out but overall they are durable and a good value considering they will turn into dirt after👍 One lasts me 2-4 months and they last my teen son about one month because he leaves it on the counter🤷‍♀️my son does not like them but I will do my best ton convince him it’s better for his health to be slightly inconvenienced by the occasional bristle falling out rather than the potential long term health risks associated with nylon bristles shedding microplastics🤷‍♀️😂wish me luck!

Firm bristles which I like but don’t brush too hard. The bristles fall out if you are too aggressive. It seems to be more effective to let the brush do its job. Definitely gets my teeth clean and helps me avoid plastic. For the price and the quality I would definitely recommend it.

Previously, in my quest to have all natural toothbrushes in bamboo or wood with natural animal bristles, the boar bristles were not soft enough for my gums and teeth enamel. Today I tried this version which features horse hair bristles. I am a customer for life! SO SOFT with excellent facility of the handle and bristles for the brushing. No bristles came loose at all which was a nice surprise. Attractive and space saving carrying case which also stands upright or can be stored on its side as you like. I am so happy in the value and functionality of these toothbrushes especially for a most important consideration of mine to use 100% natural animal bristles only. RECOMMEND

The bristles are really really hard. I bought these because reviews said they are softer than the boar bristles, but I don’t think I can use these long-term. They do seem like decent quality, but compared to my soft Hello brand toothbrush, these are painful to use. I really wanted to like them too.

These are great toothbrushes. We use them throughout our family. I do not recommend handing one to a teething toddler, note to self, they chew the bristles off, surprise! Anyway, we keep a pack on hand in the bathroom and have really appreciated having this natural, plastic free option for brushing our teeth.

Terrible toothbrushes - soft and comfortable -however - used just 2 times and hair bristles come off when brushing and are stuck in your mouth - for both me and my wife - terrible. Do not purchase.

I am brushing longer because I'm not paranoid about microplastics in my mouth from scrubbing with nylon bristles. Two bristles fell out the first time and none since. Not a problem. I have used it hard for a month and it has held up beautifully. It has the perfect level of softness for me. I rinse it out after use and wipe it off on a towel. I let it dry upright in the open air. No problem with moisture, mold or smells. It is a plastic free joy.

I love that these toothbrushes are totally compostable & have no plastic in them. They are a little firm when you first use them but they do soften up. My teeth always feel clean after I brush.
