The sound quality of these mics is very bad. Their sensitivity levels are too low. You need to have them about an inch from your mouth for them to record anything.

It's just ok
I brought to replace my headset for my voice amplifier They work pretty good. However they have to be really close to your mouth in order for them to work, which makes the clip pointless.

Economical, functional
I needed an external microphone for the aftermarket CapPlay system that I installed in my daughter's 2006 Prius. For whatever reason, the CarPlay system didn't come with one. Although this mic is supposed to be a lapel mic for use with a voice recorder or camcorder, I decided it would be a good fit for my use,. Turns out, it was great! You can see it mounted in the car at the top of the A pillar on the driver side. I was able to use the lapel clip to attach it under the roof liner. The flexible cord fit nicely under the trim covering the A pillar, and was long enough to reach the CarPlay screen. This mic comes in a package of 2 at a good price. This is another bonus as I am installing a second CarPlay screen in our 2006 Honda Odyssey van as well.
