Great product, good taste and the remaining pesto does not go bad quickly due to it being in a tube. I especially like the fact that since I cannot have lactose this is a great alternative since I like pesto.

This is a really good edition to an Asian dish I made. I will warn you however, it’s spicy. I like spice so when the recipe said optional add 1 tablespoon, I added 2. My mouth is on fire. Flavorful but proceed with caution!

I’ve never liked using tomato paste in any recipe because why do I want to make any dish hyper bitter?! (I’m not good with butter nor tart). Even if it’s supposed to improve the texture and give more tomato punch, pastes are always nasty flavored. Then one day I saw this in my local grocery. I had a recipe calling for tomato paste, saw it was an Italian import, decided to try it on a whim. OMG! It’s changed everything! My Pasta Sauce was A-MAZING. So I tasted the paste right out of the tube and it wasn’t heinously bitter! It was intense tomato flavor with a touch of bitter but also a touch of natural sweet! Like vine ripened tomatoes sweet. Now my grocery switched to another Italian import brand - also in a tube, so I tried it… Yeah, gross. Liked all the American brands in cans, it was totally bitter. Amazon’s price is very similar to what you’ll find in stores so just buy it here by the carton full! I use like half a tube per recipe which goes on half a narrow long bag/box of pasta.
