Healthy and tastes great

I really like this rice, I love having the option of rice that is in between white and brown and the short grains are very tasty. Excellent choice that is slightly healthier/more fibre without sacrificing flavour. Cooks quicker than brown rice and is more tender. Price per gram is not bad either considering how long this lasts us.

Happy with this brown rice. I have purchased it many times. I normally soak it for a while, and then mix white rice, wash, and cook it in the rice cooker. I probably mix 6:4 (white rice: brown rice) and can still make onigiri.

The 5kg bag is a practical size for the pantry and the quality of the rice seems fine. However, I found it to be noticeably more gritty than other varieties of brown rice I have tried. Even when prepared in a high-quality Japanese rice cooker, the texture did not quite reach the expected level of smoothness.

These taste nice for Brown Rice. Wanted to try Brown Shushi rice, instead of the white variant, as I prefer Sushi Rice as my main rice staple. Most likely I'll be staying with the Brown variant as it tastes nice and healthier, made some for my lunch today for work as well, etc, so yeah will see if I stick with it in the long term. But he recommends it though. Good price for 5KG too, tbh.

I'm disappointed that the product arrived & the packet isn't vacuum packed it supposed to be, there seems to be a hole in it. I need the rice for a party this evening
