If your cabinet scraper is made of spring-steel, then this is what you need.
Amazing quality. Is is easy to use? Yes, if you watch a few videos on how to properly put a burr on your cabinet scraper/as well as how to know if you have. It works well for high quality spring-steel cabinet scrapers and does it with ease. (As long as you can maintain hold of the scraper and keep the angle you need.) Not much needs to be said about this though it works efficiently and well. If you've never used this tool or equivalent: definitely watch about 5 different good quality videos on how to use it though as it is not "intuitive" to most people unless you have related experience. It also doesn't take much "force" to use it either. It takes just roughly the weight of your hand + the correct angle and with a couple of swipes along the edge you have a proper burr on your card/cabinet scraper thats now ready to use. This tool was responsible for my ability to properly tiller my first recurve archery bow. I had purchased the accompanying blue cabinet scraper from the same company first and actually couldn't use the cabinet scraper without this tool because nothing else I had was strong enough to put a useable burr onto the scraper. I had even desperately tried every hardened rod I had . . . even including the sides of some of my better screwdrivers (embarrassingly enough). The moment I tried this tool though- it worked the very first time. My cabinet scraper was no longer chopping into the bow limbs and was finally able to make an almost 30 inch long beautiful thin curl of juniper wood. So in short: it works as advertised and is worth every penny to me.

Feels nice in the hand, and works well. decent finish on the handle too.
Feels nice, and high quality. Looks nice, and burnishes nice. Not tons to say, it just works, and the price was not too shabby either. its simple to use, just rub it on the surface you need to deform.

Good tool but beware of the etched manufacturer info
It's a burnisher, not much to go wrong but DFM found a way. They etched manufacturer info. on the steel rod which will scratch rather than burnish an edge. It's not a huge problem if you make sure it's rotated out of the way. The ferrule might have been a better location. Otherwise, it works as it's supposed to.

It produces a fine burr at a reasonable price
The first time that I bought a burnisher it was from a company in Canada and after nearly 30 years I have thoroughly worn that one out. My first reaction was to try to replace it, but it is no longer available so I embarked on a quest to find a suitable replacement that would get the job done and not break the bank. When I came upon DFM Toolworks I decided to give them a try because they are made in America and generally recognized for making good tools at a good price and this burnisher is no different. The turned handle is comfortable in my hand and the tool steel rod puts a fine burr on my scrapers without damaging itself or galling the edge of the scraper. Truth be told I always use a bit of wax or oil on the burnisher to help it glide across the edge of the scraper. If you are looking for a burnisher that will get the job done without self destructing or costing a small fortune then I 100% recommend this product and pretty much anything that DFM Toolworks produces.

Works like a champ!
My burnishing tool was very well made and high quality. The steel burnishing rod is very well adhered to the cherry wood handle and the brass bezel is well attached as well. A few previous reviewers noted theirs were not well attached, but mine is and the build quality of the tool is excellent! I am still learning how to burnish my card scrapers properly, but this tool (along with the instructional videos) are doing a very nice job with putting a good hook on my scrapers. Definitely a good investment and 100x better than using a screwdriver shank! I would recommend to a friend for sure.
