AudiScan Portable Audiometer Hearing Test, Noise Reducing Hearing Test Hearing Screener in Your Hand with Audiocups Cushion and Carry Case

This audiometer is easy to use for quick hearing checks. It is somewhat limited (4 frequencies and 5 levels), but still useful. One problem that I had with it was that the battery compartment cover was almost impossible to open, even using both thumbs and a lot of force. I used a jeweler's file to slightly reshape the plastic latch on the end of the cover and it works fine now. I am assuming that is is correctly calibrated, since that should be pretty simple to get right.

Worked for about one month with about use 5 days a week. Tried changing the batteries. Turns on but there is no tone. The return window has closed. Would not recommend purchasing. Find a different product.

An audiogram is supposed to test as low as 10db but this only goes down to 40db.

zero stars; batteries will not even fit appropriately; plastic pieces will not let batteries fit in correct; and yes we are putting them in correctly; returned; wasted time

After I was unable to remove the cover to put batteries in the thing, I had no confidence in this piece of junk. It beats even Dish Network remotes in the category of difficult battery placement.
