Weightless Smooth + Hold Gel, 10 fl oz

I can’t find these in the store so I have to keep purchasing from Amazon, but I have curly hair not extremely tight girls, but my hair is curly. It doesn’t amazing amazing and it’s not hard and sticky. It’s beautiful. I got compliments from my husband and it worked on my son’s curly hair as well.

I've been using Cantu products on my curly hair for a few years now. I love the scent of all the Cantu products. I loved the Shine and Design Custard and they no longer make it. I was trying to find something that worked for my type 3b curls. I searched their website and found their new line. This really is lightweight and holds the curls with not too much crunch. My hair does not feel dry or too oily when I use it.

Works pretty well it's a very soft hold. It probably would not hold down very course or curly hair.

Typically with Cantù, I find it being really heavy and you have to add a lot of water when applying. This one barely needed any water to break it down. It applied great to my son’s curls.

doesnt hold curly hair together as well as i thought, but still works pretty good with moose. doesnt hold hair throughout whole day. not bad of a smell, just smells kinda like chemicals, the shine of it is really good once it settle in with the hair. texture of it is not bad either.

It is definitely weightless and smooth. Great product for natural curls.

Holds your hair cut doesn't leave it crunchy

Smells fresh like an ocean breeze kinda scent and I think that’s all it’s good for, is making hair smell nice. I have fine wavy hair that gets crunchy with the smallest amount of most products. I applied a quarter amount to each half of my hair and there was no hold at all. Instead, my hair immediately felt dry and when I tried to brush the product through (and this was after already having detangled my wet hair), any slip I had in my hair was gone and it started knotting and was difficult to brush. After giving it a shot three different times, I gave up. All those nice sounding ingredients but the formula did nothing good for my hair.
