Works and looks great
All in all I am very happy with my purchase. In general, the dispenser certainly looks better than the cardboard box/dispenser that the plastic comes in, the cardboard box never stayed put when the wrap was pulled out and the end of the plastic was always falling back into the box. The dumb task of fishing out the end of the wrap finally made me decide to find a dispenser that was easier and cleaner to use. I debated for a time between this product and the Kenkut 3 Kenkut 3 Plastic Film and Foil Dispenser . I was looking for a plastic sheet dispenser that was of commercial quality, not too large, easy to use and would look good permanantly stationed on my kitchen counter top. I finally decided against the Kenkut 3 because of its size (20" x 8.5") thinking I would give up too much counter space. The Stretch-tite Wrap'N Snap (14" x 3.5") takes up less than 1/3 of the countertop area as the Kenkut (49 versus 170 square inches). This product is also less than half the price of the Kenkut 3. Another deciding factor was that I have for years used the Stretch-tite plastic wrap available from Costco in the 750 sq ft rolls. The plastic wrap is tough and clings well. The Stretch-tite rolls fit perfect into the Stretch-tite dispenser without any wasted space. Pros: Easy to clean. Looks good. Wrap is cut simply by depressing the cover of the dispenser with either your finger or the heel of your hand (if your fingers are soiled). The design is such that the next sheet of wrap can be pulled with your fingers without touching the dispenser. Stay-put feet can be removed and cleaned. As long as your counter top and the dispenser's feet are clean, the dispenser will stay put when pulling the wrap. I found that pulling the wrap at about a 45 to 60 degree angle to the counter top helps to keep the dispenser from moving or tipping. Pulling the wrap at a nearly parallel angle to the countertop invariably causes the dispenser to tip or slide. Cons: Loading the plastic into the dispenser, at first, seems confusing but once you understand the design it is easy and quick. I highly recommend this dispenser especially if you use Stretch-tite plastic wrap.

It Works!!!
Nearly perfectly. Here's how it works. You lift the lid and trigger two buttons, one on each end. That frees the insert. You insert your roll of plastic wrap and pull the loose end out and back over the lid. Replace the insert. Now, the tail end of the plastic is running between two pieces of plastic. Those pieces have three curved cutouts at both ends and the middle. This allows you, after cutting, to pull the end out to the desired length. To cut, bring the lid down all the way. It doesn't feel like much happened, but when you let the lid up, the plastic is cut cleanly. The new roll end is again caught between the plastic pieces and ready for you to pull another. If you were to pick the loaded dispenser up and shake it, it's possible to bounce the roll around enough to pull the end back into the body of the machine, in which case, you just open the insert and reload. No big deal. I'm kind of stunned. I really didn't expect this kind of slick operation. If it matters, I have been using 100-foot Saran wrap in it. I see no reason for it to work any differently with other brands. The lid that you lift to grab the roll end sits about halfway ajar, but there is a simple one-hand twist latch that can hold it closed to keep it from crumb-catching if you like. I feels substantial and well made and will likely last long enough to be well worth the price. As related in other reviews, it probably won't take very large rolls. It comes with some soft rubber shoes, one for each side, that gives it considerable traction on a counter. But on my slick stainless counter or on top of my no-fingerprint enameled bread box, it's barely heavy enough to sit still reliably when you pull a length. That's not really too big a deal. It pretty well takes two hands, one to pull and one to push the lid down to cut, so you have a hand on the dispenser anyway. I'm going to rig mine with a sheet magnet glued to the bottom to stick to my steel counter or steel breadbox. Of course, no problem if it's attached with screws. The instructions specifically say that it won't work with foil. I suspect, though, that it may well work with parchment or wax paper. I bake all our bread, and I frequently need to pull a foot of wrap to cover a bowl during proofing. I intensely dislike fiddling with a plastic wrap box and the inadequate cutting edge provided. Plus, the box falls apart before I finish the roll. No more of that. As I said, IT WORKS!

Best wrap and best dispenser I ever used. Love it.
NO MORE FIGHTING WITH PLASTIC WRAPS. The Wrap'N Snap is fast, convenient, mega easy. Does the job and no wasting wrap. This dispenser has sat on my counter for a couple of years now and I use it every day. Best dispenser I ever used AND best wrap on the market. You could have it in a drawer, but I find it more convenient to keep it right there on the counter where I use it all the time. It's a neutral color. Looks fine and gives you the right amount of wrap; cutting it cleanly and EASILY AND SAFELY. No more fighting with wrap in a flimsy box and that RAZOR sharp serrated cutting strip they all have. I did think the price for this could be lower, but I think it has paid for itself in saving me time, effort, aggravation, and not wasting wrap. I would absolutely buy it again. (And the Stretch Tite wrap itself is THE best, hands down. But that I purchased separately.)

I'm used to keeping a roll of this stuff in a cabinet and bringing it out each time I need to use it (just about every day). This is often when hands are covered in food or whatever so the box gets grungy over time; the box also needs immediate reinforcement with heavy-duty packaging tape or it quickly falls apart. I happened upon this dispenser on Amazon and, since the only cling wrap that I've ever found worth buying is what Costco sells (Stretch-Tite, two boxes of 750' each bundled together) and since this dispenser describes itself as specifically designed for this brand, I figured this would reduce the chances that I'd have to return it as not useful. It works great. I'm happy with it. Good quality and very to use. I like the way the lid is perpetually open so my fingers don't have to touch anything at all before grabbing hold of the wrap and pulling it out. The cutting mechanism is also well-designed so I can use even my wrist or elbow to push the lid down, which activates the cutter, before springing back up into open position. I gave this 4 stars only because it does not include a means to attach under cabinets. I don't want any more counter clutter and the counter backsplashes are mirrors and I was reluctant to risk cracking the glass by drilling holes through the mirrors and so I had to improve a solution for this - see pics). For each one of the two support brackets, I used epoxy to attach one 9" 90-degree angle bracket to a second 6" 90-degree angle bracket to create a large 'U' shaped bracket. I screwed one side into the underside of the cabinet which left a horizontal bar 6+ inches below and parallel to the underside of the cabinet. I attached the feet of the dispenser to each bracket with 3M double-sided tape, which is more than strong enough to keep this baby in place. One satisfied customer.

Works better than Expected.
I purchased this on a whim, without high expectations of anything more than a gadget. Well, I was wrong to think that. This dispenser is durable and is really helpful when pulling plastic wrap to cover a bowl, plate or platter. The cutting edge is sharp and cleanly severs plastic wrap without uneven tearing. It has holes on back to hang from the wall, but I haven’t mounted it yet. It sits on a shelf as I have not decided a height to commit to putting holes in my tiled backsplash. It is stable on the shelf, and doesn’t move when I pull the plastic wrap, so hanging it is a personal preference I think. Keep in mind that if you hang this, the area underneath/in front of the dispenser must be kept accessible if you want to bring food container to the dispenser. It also works if the dispenser is on the counter, but again, the area in front needs to be clear. Otherwise, just pulling plastic wrap and taking it to the food container defeats the purpose of this dispenser… might as well just keep the cardboard box in which the plastic wrap is sold. I’m happy I made this purchase, it works well for me.

Works like it should, makes life just a little bit easier...
This is a great item and worth every penny. I have used Stretch-Tite film from Costco for many years and have always been a little frustrated with the packaging. Yes, it comes with a serrated edge on which to tear off a sheet and also a sliding cutter on a plastic rail that fits over the serrated edge, but it requires opening the box very carefully and feeding the leading edge of the film through a small slot. Yeah, it works, but if the lid gets a little torn or the box gets a little banged up in the cupboard, pulling out a new sheet gets very clumsy. Plus, you have to find and unscramble the leading edge of the film before getting another sheet. Not exactly a life-shattering experience, but annoying nonetheless. The Wrap 'N Snap 7500 Dispenser avoids all of that. Open the lid, drop in a roll of film, pull the leading edge out over the front of the dispenser, close the lid and DONE. For the next sheet, the leading edge of the film is held nice and straight inside the dispenser, just pull out what you need and close the lid. Nice, neat and clean. The dispenser has enough weight to it and little gripper feet in front so that it stays in place on the counter while in use. Set your dish in front of the dispenser, pull out enough film to cover it, close the lid and wrap. I love it when a device just does what it is supposed to do. Easily worth the price.

Great gadget
I thought this would be another contraption I'd be sending back! To my surprise, I LOVE IT! It stores my big roll of plastic wrap and perfectly cuts it. Really doesn't take up much room on the counter.
