Fantastic little tool if you use interset type hollow wall fittings. Put the fitting through the hole in the wall, slide the screw head into this setting tool and squeeze the handle . There is a bit of resistance as the fitting starts to open and then squeeze until is feels firm. A hundred times easier than trying to do it with pliers and screwdriver.

Saw this gadget recommended on a YouTube video and, although not used in earnest yet, seems to do the job well - more convenient than simply screwing in anchor plugs. Having now done some work with several cavity fixings, I'm not sure it's as effective as it might be when using smaller fixings - fine for the larger ones, but not so great for 32mm, M4 fixings.

Works well - a solid tool from a good brand. Can leave a mark on a pale surface as others have said - but this can be avoided by placing a sheet of paper behind it and pushing the fixing through before securing.

Can't use the metal wall anchors without a setting tool and it needs to be sturdy to do the job properly. Rawlplug has a good reputation, so I gave this one a go and I have not been disappointed! Does the job and I think it will outlast me!! Highly recommend

Used a handful of times and it kept jamming. Returned as it couldn’t be used.

I had made the mistake of buying look alike rawlplug Intersets from a well known DIY chain. Unlike the genuine ones, these ones just chew a big hole in the plasterboard when tightened. Enter this gadget. Easy stuff. Just squeeze the triggers, the rawlplug tightens behind the plasterboard and you are good to go. Essential for using these Rawlplugs which are designed to carry heavy weights such as radiators

Needed this as my house is a new build with many plasterboard walls. A good tool & good quality
