I bought this hoping to play some retro games , plugged it in and nothing , the power light was on the controllers flashed red then green to acknowledge they had connected but no picture on screen . Unplugged it and thought I’ll try it on a different tv in case it was a dodgy hdmi on the tv , so I unplugged my ps5 off of the big tv knowing full well it obviously worked plugged it in again nothing . Quality wise I didn’t expect much and to be fair it didn’t work so couldn’t comment on that aspect , had to give it 1 star would have given it 0 if it would of let me

Didn’t work!!! Wish I had read the reviews first ! Seems like a very large percentage of buyers have had the same issues! Very disappointed!

Kept my son entertained for hours

Had loads of fun on for about an hour after that I unplugged it and it stopped working after that

The media could not be loaded. Comes very compact for how much you get.They've thought out how this is used also adding a small hdmi dongle for the more awkward tv access otherwise its like a firestick that just wants to go against the back of the tv flat.It has a dongle for the controllers and a pre-installed SD card with the emulators and the games, i've yet to try this in my pc to see if you can add anymore games etc but out the box its easy to setup and works the second theres power.Games work on the oldest consoles perfectly fine, it has save states for those who want to stop immediately and as an emulator is perfect especially with the customization.As you climb upto the newer consoles like playstation though it does have a tough time. Alot of the games emulation is 90% there with the odd bit of ropey play like framerate dips and corrupted cgibut they all work....for a good while, just it is prone to overheating on the more intense 3d games, like the unit gets warm but not hot so theres no safety concerns, just a limitation of the device.Lastly while there is tens of thousands of games alot of them are repeats, some are just US/JPN other more egregious examples are 8 versions of the same game just for every translation.The controllers are good ps3 clones but dont power down automatically using an almost hidden switch on the underside that you have to flick off when done.For its price point though this is an immense amount of fun potential aslong as you buy it understand the flaws.
