Perfect fit for my XL hand
It's very well made. The adapter is aluminum, and while the threadings were a little rough, installing it on my 2024 WRX was smooth. I was worried it would freeze when it's been in the 30s, but honestly, it hasn't been bad. If it gets hot during the summer, I'll probably cover it with something before I leave the car. The weight isn't too heavy and allows smoother shifting, especially for my large hand. Combined with a shift stop and other transmission enhancements, it'll feel more solid.

Solid Shift Knob!
I originally ordered the Skink2 shift knob. I was excited when it finally arrived. However, my first impression was that it was very small. Although, I love the weight, the width was actually smaller than my OEM. After 5 minutes, I drove to UPS Store and returned it and ordered this one instead. Wow, big difference. I shift with the palm of my hand over the shift knob instead of my hand on the side. It's a lot heavier and it's definitely more comfortable. The only negative, since it's stainless steel is that it gets really cold and it gets really hot. I found this sock at Daiso which is called a "chair sock". It comes with 4 and I use two of them. It works great with this shift knob.

Very heavy, looks nice!
If you are looking for a very heavy shift knob, this is the one for you! For me, it is too much of a good thing. It made shifting gears feel too soft and dead for my taste. Will keep it for a back up.

Massive solid knob
This knob is big and heavy just like I wanted. Solid stainless and looks great. Feels great in you hand. I like that it’s not just a ball, with other balls my fingers would hit the boot or lock but in the bottom of the knob. Not this with one. I have an M16x1.5 thread so I didn’t use any adapters. It’s 1lb12oz (795g) as in the picture in the listing, not 1.12lb (510g) as stated in the description. Only downside is it gets pretty chilly when it’s cold but that’s to be expected with any metal knob. I love it.

Really enjoy this shift knob.
Installed in a 2nd generation Cummins equipped Ram. This knob has some gravity to her. I really like the size, shape, and particularly the height of the knob. With many of the other options you generally feel the lock nut on the base while shifting. Not a huge deal, but that always reminds me that it is an aftermarket one size fits all deal. This knob on the other hand says quality aftermarket. Really feels nice in the hand. Can be a quite toasty, and a little frigid depending on the day.

Heavier Than Advertised
If you're looking for a heavy weight shift knob, this is it. End of story. It's actually much heavier than the advertised weight, which in most cases is fine. However, if you're putting this on a shifter that's longer, like a truck, this will not work. It's so heavy that if I hit a bump, it will shift my transmission into neutral. Obviously, that doesn't work. The fit and finish is great, and the adapters work really well.

Wow night and day difference
This knob is awesome. The whole shifting experience is just buttery smooth in my old Jeep now. I wish I’d gotten it sooner. Great product. But was missing the adapters so had to order somewhere else which was annoying but not a big deal.

I love this thing!
2016 wrx. So i noticed a notchy, crunchy feel going through all gears. So i did research, and found some people only wanted to smooth out shifting, and not change any components, exa. Shift plates, bushing, etc. You also have to figure out if you even like STS's. Me!, I don't mind rowing my Rex, or traveling from east to west in need for speed. Besides, i don't vape, so i got time to do the traveling. But weighted shift knob is a option. Only problem i had, was the inserts. It came with 4, but none worked for my car. I just ordered the right one from Amazon ( 12 mm x 1.25 ID - 16 mm x 1.5 OD), problem solved! After that, installation was a snap. I lined the provided nut up on the 2016 base model shift lever threads. Screwed on the knob, I'm in business. This shift knob improves overall feel when transitioning from one gear to the next. It did not remove all of these notchy, crunchy sensations, but it did make the sensations very minimal. Now my shifter feels buttery, something that was not there before. Very very ( the heaviest ) heavy. Did research on the effects of weighted knobs, after hrs of reading arguments, shift cables should not affect/effect the selector fork,(excuse me, etc. %$#@×?&) But the supports for your gear selector inside the car, ( not on the trans ), which has pivot supports, bushings, etc. that may wear faster than normal. I would guess, at the very least 60k miles, before you would see anything. ( I'm guessing! )( I'm still gonna use mine! ) These parts could probably be fixed by any Scoobie driver and the likes, or i know someone that works on cars and a beer! It does get very hot. Here's mine, and i keeps it covered!!!
