I bought this blanket for my dog to lay on in my Jeep, however it was unexpectedly soft and so nice I decided to use it for my seat cover. Sorry, Annie. I can use it for many purposes, just not for dirty paws from hiking.

Beautiful and colorful and made in Mexico. It’s a bit lighter than our original ones we bought in Mexico in 1987. They lasted forever. We still have ours, but these are softer and not itchy on the skin like the old ones. They are so good for the car, the beach, picnics and in the house when you feel a bit chilly. Vibrant colors. Well made.

I've been doing yoga for years - and noticed lots of cute Mexican blankets - but didn't REALLY want one until now. It's thick, colorful, warm (but not heavy) and helps with a slight bursitis problem in a knee. An excellent purchase. Thrilled with it.

It's as described and it's attractive. Understand that I can be picky and will return crappy fabrics that won't work for my purpose. Didn't shrink, no fading, no fail: washed on cold/cold, gentle wash/regular spin, in my 1993 Maytag top-loader (it's great, why would I replace it, plus I can "felt" when I want to...said the knitter). Dried in direct sun on my outdoor clothesline. This is fine for yoga class and similar -- it is probably not great for a big, active dog to use, or rambunctious family members, or a non-glamper rafting trip, but not outright delicate, either. It is not a $250-wool-hand-it-down-to-your-children type of blanket, it is acrylic&cotton in a slightly loose weave but not wimpy. I am happy with it for yoga class, outside bouldering, and a throw blanket where the dog can't mess with it. I would come straight back here and buy another if needed.
