Useful Product, with Unexpected Benefits
I was somewhat skeptical because a few reviews mentioned the cheap plastic that this bottle is made out of. I was expecting it to be thin, and flimsy. When I opened it, I was very happy with the quality, as it is made from very thick material- I believe it is 3d printed. If you are around people who will steal an entire pill bottle from you, then this may not work for you. But if you want to keep someone from taking a few out for themselves, this is perfect! No one would be able to get into it without it being obvious. It is large enough to hold a 3 month script, and it does the job it is intended to do. Another unexpected benefit from this is that I always remember if I took my medicine or not. In the past, I have taken my medicine in autopilot mode, and can’t remember if I actually took it. Having the extra step to open the bottle has completely eliminated this issue.

Great we Deterrent - would recommend!
[+] Keeps other family members out of my Rx pain medication (a teen for obvious reasons, and husband who likes to take recreationally.) Although it’s not fool-proof (someone could BREAK it - it is just plastic so du!) it does seem a stronger plastic than an ordinary Rx bottle and has kept said members from sneaking some thinking I wouldn’t notice. [+] it holds an entire month supply easily and probably even a 90 day supply depending on the size of your pills. [+] I don’t think the lock code would be easy to “figure out” while turning the numbers each one will sort of clunk into position with no difference to the correct numbers falling in place. [-] It can be hard to remember a code you didn’t set - I remedied this by saving it in my phones notes app. Just make sure you scramble it each time you’re done!! [+] The preset code makes it hard for others to figure out too! [-] The numbers are hard to line up “just right” but that can help the deterrent factor. The rotating wheels are loose or tight - mine has 2 loose & 2 tight wheels. This doesn’t bother me but I can see how others refer to it being made of cheap place lock, but IT WORKS!!! I have recommended this to other friends/family that I know have medications to keep safe - from kids, teens, to other adults it’s perfect!! Definitely more secure than ordinary “child proof locks” and provides me with great peace of mind!!

Works. But crackable to a motivated person.
I’m a recovering opiate addict,, 10 years clean but I take daily Suboxone for maintenance. (Like methadone for people who don’t know.). I am horrible with taking my pills as prescribed so I bought this to give to my wife so she could give me my pills and keep them locked away . I have a young son and for some reason he became fascinated with watching lock picking videos on the Internet. We began watching Togetther before bedtime. (I know it sounds weird, but this YouTube channel called the lock picking lawyer has billions of views apparently people really like watching it.). After watching a lock picking video I figured out how to open this bottle. I hate myself for doing it, but I’ve now been taking more pills than I should and my script is coming up and I know I’m gonna be short and my wife is not gonna be happy with me I feel like a degenerate Anyhow, I will say,,,, this bottle kept me locked out for about a year until I really decided to take a crack at it. But once I tried, I was able to crack it in five minutes. Scary thing though is that I was able to figure out the combination. So there’s no evidence that I’ve opened it or gotten into it other than the missing pills. I now know the 4 digit combo. So if you are worrying about somebody taking opiates, which could kill them, you should probably put this bottle inside of a lock box.

Safe and Secure Highly Recommended
These lock bottles are a must if you have children in the home or if you need to secure your medication . I have purchased these a few times and am very happy with my purchase. It's very easy to open with the unique 4 digit combination. Each bottle has It's own unique number. You are not able to select your own 4 digit code, it comes with the code already programed. The pharmacy prescription bottles do not fit inside the lock bottle, you must empty the bottle into this container. I most definitely recommend these bottles for safety and security

Serves a purpose -until it doesn’t
I suspected my stepdaughter was pilfering my anti-anxiety meds. I had no concrete proof, but I knew I was missing pills. So I got this. It’s plastic. It’s not that sturdy. I could stomp on it with bare feet and I’m sure it would shatter into a million pieces. But there will be no more questions of missing pills. She’s either gonna have to steal the whole lock bottle or crack it open. Have fun convincing me that I “must have double dosed myself” when there’s bits of blue plastic everywhere or the whole bottle is just GONE. Now this works to deter a 19 year old who thought she could get a little loopy on my meds and I wouldn’t notice. She’s a troubled kid experimenting, not a hard core addict (yet anyway). It serves my purpose for now. If you are living with an addict who wants whatever meds you are trying to hide, get a safe. Preferably one made out of titanium or 6 inch steel. This plastic bottle will deter a casual user, but an addict will bust this thing open in a heartbeat. Other cons- you have to line up the combination just right to open it, kind of annoying. A potential con- comes with a pre-set combo on a sticker right on the bottle. If you happen to open it in front of the wrong person and they see the code...well now you are holding junk. On the other hand, I kind of like the code was picked for me because no one would EVER guess this code. Stupid humans.... we tend to pick 4 digit codes that people close to us can guess easily (birthdays etc). I burned the code into my brain and promptly destroyed that sticker. Don’t be dumb and forget the code or write it down where your resourceful pill popper can find it. Breaks my heart that I had to buy this thing. Prayers and hugs to all of you out there dealing with addiction. Update- deterrent at best. Step daughter grabbed it out of my hand, threw it to the floor and as predicted the container basically disintegrated from the force of a 19 year old 120lb girl. Pills all over the room. The only thing left intact was the cap. Just sad.

These give me confidence that my Rx are safe. Setting my person combination was very easy.
I am so relieved to have these locking bottles when I am not home since I can feel safe when traveling. I like that I can set my own combination since I have some memory issues. I called the company to ask a question and the person that took my call was very helpful. The pictures are the inside of the locking lid. When you set your combination, you then place it on the encoder and push down. That breaks off the little grey bumps which allow the bottle to be opened and closed only when the correct combination is set. I just ordered a set of 4 large size that I can drop a bottle in, label and all. So soon I will have 6 two small and four large.
