Philips 8" Circline 4-CCT Selectable White Color Temperature Plug and Play T9 Type A LED, 1-Pack

I’m really happy with this Philips 8” Circline LED. Installation was truly plug and play and took just a few minutes. The light comes on instantly, no flicker, and it’s noticeably brighter than the old fluorescent it replaced. One of my favorite features is the selectable color temperature. Being able to choose between different whites makes a big difference depending on the room. I went with a neutral white and it looks clean without feeling harsh. Definitely measure before ordering — this is an 8” light and needs the correct fixture size. As long as you confirm that first, it’s an easy upgrade. Overall, this feels like a quality Philips product and a solid replacement if you’re tired of fluorescent bulbs.

I cant believe this isnt too hit when I searched T9 Florescent replacement due to chinese sponsored crap, philips is a trusted brand and this is amazing value. It is indeed LED even though nowhere in the production description confirms this, with multiple color temperature and It is indeed stupid bright, much better than any florescent T9 can ever be. Many people are saying it doesn’t fit or the plug is wrong, this is 100% user error, read the T9 code off your own bulb, it literally tells you the diameter and plug type required. I’d buy more but this will likely last until the day I die. Also, if you are buying this you are most likely a renter in an old building, this is in fact the most cost effective option you will ever find on this planet.

Super bright, much brighter than the original fluorescent. Nice to be able to set a color temperature, altho in my fixture the selector is hidden, si the temperature cannot be changed without removing the lamp. Lamp is plastic, so it's not as fragile as the fluorescent, and it costs less than the fluorescent.

Nothing in the item description nor the box mentioned that the angle of the plug may not be compatible with the fixture in my magnifying lamp base (with my existing fc8t9/cw/rs 22watt sylvania.) I was able to loosen my plug and attach it to the lamp but it would not illuminate. My assumption is that my electronic ballast has failed and not the existing lamp. That is the problem with these direct replacement led lamps. Unless you know for certain that the problem is not with the ballast you are not buying the fix you need. I’m returning this to buy a led that requires you to bypass the ballast.there is no need retain the ballast troubleshooting problems associated with fluorescent fixtures when 120volt ac direct power led lamps are available that require only a simple wiring change to bypass the unneeded ballast. Combined with the wrong plug angle this purchase was a mistake.

Very easy installation. Very bright. It fit perfectly as a replacement for the old, burned out, 8 inch fluorescent T9 bulb. I like the ability to adjust the light level. The "dynamic" daylight setting was a little too blue for me, so set it on the regular daylight setting. Everyone can have their own personal preference. I will update this review if it suddenly decides to stop working for some reason.

Easy to install and works great. Nice that you can change the color temperature.

Not the same form factor as the fluorescent ones. Did not fit in my Dazor lamp without removing the translucent half of the body and removing some plastic from the inside edge of the housing where it rubbed on the lamp. YOU CANNOT CHANGE LIGHT COLORS EASILY. The switch is on what is meant to be the TOP of the bulb. This is fine for some applications, but in a desk lamp where you might want to change the color temp of the light on the fly.... it's a useless feature. I installed mine upside down. Without the diffuser on I rely on the lamp reflector to diffuse the light and this puts the switch on the bottom where it's more useful.
