Men's Q Chronograph 40mm Watch

Great alternative to pricey GMTs. Get the job done looks cool.

Is 40 mm the best measurement for most? Yes. Is it a tad small for me? Also yes. But I may change my mind later on.

let me start out by saying i'm a watch collector who started getting valjoux 7750 (automatic) chronographs in the early 2000s and they were my favorite watch. however, not only do they start at $1200 these days, just to service them every 5 or so years is $400. so i stopped collecting those and went to simple diver watches. but the love of a chrono on my wrist stayed within, and honestly this gorgeous Timex chrono is the next best thing to slapping down $1200 and shelling out $400 every 5 years. sure, there are other quartz chronos out there, but Timex has been going back to past designs to inspire their reeditions, and this one certainly hits that mark. i normally want an hour totalizer with a chrono, but this has a moving bezel that can be used for that in analog fashion. also, the GMT hand is, while not needed by me, another fun feature. as it sits on my wrist now this classic 70s looking piece is as fun to have on as any of my $1000 Swiss divers. this is just a super fun watch. it's able to time anything for fun, with the moving bezel or chrono timer (which hits the second markers right on by the way!). the quality and cosmetics are first rate, and the amazon price is insane. even if you're not a quartz fan this is a must. i used to be a mechanical snob, but wonderful and affordable watches like this have won me over.

The face is not as big as I thought it would be but probably just fine. We'll see how it holds up diving. My trusted Casio dive watch leaked and was ruined on my last dive trip. Was very dismayed.
