Nice product
I read the reviews before purchasing and I saw some complain of a “brownish-red” color. As you can see from the attached photo after spraying my calipers are an awesome high quality bright red color just like I wanted so I’m not sure if they got a bad batch of paint or didn’t clean their calipers of dust & dirt before coating. I followed the hints of using aluminum foil to cover the disc and other parts I didn’t want red along with tape to cover the small areas. I took my time and did a wheel at a time using my floor jack. I put 3 coats about 10-15 minutes apart in 60 degree weather and I had no issues at all. The paint covered well with minimal runoff. Total time was about 4 hours to do all 4 calipers. I will update if it have any problems or longevity issues. Overall I absolutely love the new look!!

Red Wine color
Great paint! Three light coats is better than one heavy one. I didn’t use this paint for calipers but rather for wheels on my new John Deere tractor. Prep, temperature, light coats and let each application dry thoroughly before applying the next. A beautiful red wine color.

Works great even in Minnesota weather
This stuff is great. I sprayed my calibers with it last year. I live in Minnesota, where it gets really snowing and cold and they still look great. Definitely worth the buy.

Covers well, high gloss - dries darker than when wet
This is a first impression - I don't know how it will hold up over time. That being said, I was painting rear existing OEM calipers to match a brand new set of red powder coated front calipers. The rustoleum red is decidedly darker in person, when dry, compared to the powder coated calipers. Think more light burgundy red compared to fire engine red. It goes on brighter, but dries darker (I touched up a few chips on the powder coated ones and you can see the difference). All that being said, the basically look the same once the wheels are on - and that was my goal.

Perfect
The color of this stuff was perfect! Super easy to use, full coverage, I’ve had it on for over a month now and it looks just as great as it did when I first put it on, so I would say the quality is great.

Touch up those brake…
Great way to add some detail to your vehicle. I painted my caliber’s during a brake job and I absolutely love the look. Clear throughly with brake cleaner and a wire brush. I recommend priming first , but not really needed with this paint. Rust-Oleum makes a quality paint. Dry with a hair dryer to cure faster.

A Great Choice.
Color variety: As others have said, the red is a little darker than other options, but looks great! Ease of use: Sprays well, I did not have any problems with leaking or the nozzle getting clogged. Texture: If applied well its comparable to a powder coated caliper. Has held up to several months of use so far. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have not had any problems with Rust-Oleum sprays and they give quality results.

Strong stuff! I used them on aluminum brembo caliper covers and they held very nicely, paint was even across the calipers which is awesome. Only thing I didn't like it's dark red not bright red like brembos red.

Good but check the colour before buy

Used this on my brake calipers and it turned out awesome. The red is bright and glossy, goes on smooth, and holds up well against heat and brake dust. Easy to apply if you prep right — just do a few light coats. Looks great and still like new after weeks of driving. Highly recommend!

Perfect product for your car brake calipers. Prevents rust, keeps it looking premium and like new always. Works perfectly well at higher temperatures also. I've sprayed it on my Jeep compass brake caliper with ease and it's worked great so far. Great product.
