It works great but should have been made with a different, waterproof fabric considering users who need this are likely to have health issues like incontinence, nausea, need sponge bathing, etc.

The raising back allowed me to sleep in a hotel bed instead of my wheelchair while traveling. It needed some additional cushioning to be comfortable, I added an inflatable sleeping bag cushion, mattress pad, leg pillow and fitted bottom sheet, held in place by hand clamps used for building. Effort to pack and haul makes it a great solution for a multi night stay, not very efficient for an overnight.

This is a very good product and has been very convenient for my sweetie who has severe lower back problems making it much easier to get in an out of bed adjusting the height. It is mounted on a wide 32" cot. Others here have helpfully pointed out that sliding down can be prevented using a section of memory foam about 1-1/2" thick. The cover is a little rough and the foam fixes that too.

I would’ve given this a five star, but I just don’t see why such a quality wonderful supportive power lift, that they could not have added one more inch of cushion on this. I think you guys should. I had already bought a chair cushion two-piece, so using that over it. Now I don’t have to sleep in a recliner at night. I have this on our king size bed and it is just wonderful. And it still leaves a twin size room for my husband on the other side of the bed. It is the perfect size for a twin too. Oh no, I wrote this and last night my husband when I got up to go to the bathroom had swung his arm under I am – and I did not know that and he is now going to go get x-rays. He’s in a lot of pain. I forgot to mention that my back is bad and so that’s why this is good and I can use the side rails to pull myself up out of the bed. It’s very helpful. I don’t know what to do now with it having hurt him.

The lift itself is very nice and good quality , I took off two stars off for packaging mine arrived disheveled taped and retaped so I can only assume I got someone else’s return which is crappy since I paid a lot to have someone else’s used product.
