For the money this is an awesome 👌 piece of audio technology.

Should be -5 stars What initially appeared to be a promising MP3 player turned out to be a complete disappointment that failed within the first hour of use. This device is unreliable, poorly constructed, and creates significant privacy concerns.Initial Impressions At first glance, the MP3 player seemed impressive. The sleek design and advertised features suggested a quality product worth the investment. Unfortunately, appearances proved deeply deceiving.Critical Problems Within just one hour of setup, the device completely powered down after displaying an error message claiming the provided SIM card didn't work, despite following the setup instructions precisely. After this initial failure, the unit refused to power on again, even after proper charging. Privacy Concerns Perhaps most concerning is the privacy risk this device poses. Before it failed, personal information had already been uploaded, including: - A child's name - Spotify account login credentials Due to these privacy risks, returning the product isn't even an option, as there's no guarantee that sensitive personal data couldn't be extracted by others if the device were to be refurbished or resold.The rapid failure exposes the truth about this MP3 player's construction—it's essentially "dust and debris" masquerading as technology. The inability to power on after charging suggests fundamental hardware issues that shouldn't exist in any reputable electronic device. Value Assessment This purchase represents a complete waste of money. Not only is the consumer out the full purchase price, but they're also left with an electronic paperweight containing personal information that cannot safely be returned or resold.Recommendation Avoid this MP3 player at all costs. Died on day 44 after delivery (14 days past 30 day return window) will not output sound on speaker, headphones or Bluetooth. plays for a few seconds and then sound goes out, will randomly come back on for a few seconds. Appeared to be a defective headphone jack, I'm Bluetooth, I don't use the jack. There were some great things I liked about it. Was able to install Musicolet from the play store. Was able to connect a Bluetooth button and connect to motorcycle at same time. Was able to remove almost all non-essential apps and all the kid friendly features. Had a long battery life at 12 hours of Bluetooth play. Edit: Seller sent a replacement, will continue to evaluate and update on the replacement. Defaults to 50% volume each time it makes a Bluetooth connection. Annoying. Back side scratches quite easily in a phone mount. Seems to run hot. Survived in direct sun on a phone mount. ONE YEAR LATER: Got a new bike, 2017 Indian Roadmaster. This thing works great with the bikes infotainment system. BT is always connected, volume is remembered and the handlebar controls work perfectly. I leave the player in standby mode continuously and charge the device once a week. will play for a whole weekend without charging, I leave it in a pouch on the tank. Have started running flac files thru it with no problems or delay. Would buy again, I'm surprised it has lasted this long in a harsh motorcycle environment.

Broken after six months. My kids were really careful with theirs, and we are so disappointed for the money we paid. Is there a way to contact the company? Follow up: the company contacted me and sent a brand new replacement. So far, it is working just fine. My kids are so happy thay they have a way to listen to their music again. We just haven't figured out a way to transfer some apps yet. But we appreciate that this company has great customer service.

This was a, christmas present for my daughter. She wanted access to online music (spotify), audiobooks and emails from friends, but we didn't want her to have any social media yet The pecsu was a perfect fit. She had used it constantly (even as an alarm clock) and cannot download any apps without my permission. After a little less than a year the usb-c port came loose and it wouldn't work. I sent an email to pecsu and they immediately offered to replace it with a new one, no questions asked. Excellent after- sales service!

The item is very user friendly, but I am now looking for a new one because after a few times charging the battery it will now longer maintain a charge. The only way to use the product is to leave it constantly plugged in. This is a second part of the review for the second Pecsu 160 GB MP3 Player. First, I very much appreciate the support of the company. My first Pecsu player would not hold a charge had to be constantly plugged in to use. The company supported their product and sent me a new one. Very much appreciated. After a few month of use, the second Pecsu player has a similar problem. It will not charge beyond 74% and loses charge very quickly. The product itself is very well put together and works great, but the company has a serious battery issue that makes this product not worth the effort. I strictly use it as a music source so that I do not fill my phone with music. I wanted it mainly for bluetooth use at home and as a pesonal listening device when I travel. Now I am back to trying to find a reliable music player.

We have had three of these for my kids. They do what we want for the most part, but two of them had the speaker stop working so you have to use headphones. This doesn't bother me because I'd rather my kids use headphones anyway, but my daughter is disappointed. Customer service was great, however. They replaced the first one that has this issue, but then it happened again with the second one and I probably won't bother to get a new one. You get what you pay for!

La verdad, con un alfiler le piqué para resetearlo y llevo algunas semanas sin problema. El aparato ha funcionado de maravilla para lo que necesitaba, que mis hijos pudieran escuchar su música con mi cuenta de amazon y que solo tuvieran un juego didáctico y youtube kids. Le borré todas las otras aplicaciones con las que pueden descargar otro tipo de material. el bluetooth funciona perfecto para que pongan bocinas o en el auto. El tamaño es bueno, como el de un teléfono

this review is after using PECSU G5 for 2 months. it is the best out there in terms of features, usability and price. i have downloaded poweramp using google play store which has made this device unparallelled in terms of sound quality and track/album management. i am using 1TB micro SD card which i bought from amazon basics. with this expanded memory i can store all my Audible books, Kindle books, Videos and Photos. Data transfer with PC is easy. it comes with many useful Apps and you can add any others from google play store. it has Wi-fi and Bluetooth. look no further if you are looking for a device like this. the only cons i noted are volume up & down buttons have to be better designed. not easy to adjust volume with the present design. it also lacks a cover to protect micro SD card. all in all, it is still the best device out there. buy it before they are sold out. highly recommended.

I would give this product 10 stars if I could. I have bought several as gifts. The interface is orderly, functional & attractive. The machine does not stall & extremely rarely, if ever, crashes. I had a technical problem & emailed the customer services & they provided high quality, helpful & straightforward intruction. The playback quality over earphones or a secondary speaker on this machine is fantastic. The in built small speaker is also very useful. I like to play it on the small, in built speaker very quietly as I go to sleep. The machine has a bluetooth function plus a physical aux socket. The machine works seemlessly with a 1tb micro sd card installed & the extra internal memory is useful for downloading data from aps such as audible, kindle, libby, spotify & apple music. Overall, for this quality of media player, the price is amazing. As the world gets more crazy, there are nonetheless some nice things about living in the present day. This well engineered product has brought me a lot of joy.
