An underated Pro without a Pro price tag
I don’t even know where to start but this Ultimate 2C controller is incredibly comfortable. The blue color is beautiful and calming, I love it so much I’m even thinking of painting my room to match it! The vibration feels solid, not harsh, and the triggers and buttons have a really satisfying feel, also the battery life is great to where you forget about it. I bought the pink one for my girlfriend and the blue one for myself, and both have been great. The gyroscope works well, and overall, this just feels like a premium controller — without the premium price. Honestly, don’t waste your money on a Nintendo Pro Controller. This is better and more affordable. As for concerns I’ve seen about the USB-C cable breaking, I tested it by flexing it a bit while plugged in. From what I can tell, the only way you’d break it is through rough use (like aggressively moving it around while plugged in and using the gyroscope). Under normal use, it should be fine. If you have a Switch or a Steam Deck, I highly recommend this controller. It’s more than worth it. Now for the downside: I had no luck getting it to work with a Windows game like GTA V. It connects to Windows and even navigates the menus, but when I launch a game, none of the controls work. Maybe I’m missing a step or there’s a workaround, but as it stands, I can’t recommend it for regular Windows gaming outside of Steam and the Switch. • Pros: Comfortable, beautiful design, excellent build, responsive buttons, great price, works perfectly with Switch and Steam Deck • Cons: May not work with windows If you’re sticking to Switch or Steam Deck, go for it this controller Is perfect.

Buy it
This is a fantastic controller. It’s really high quality for a good price and everything works great on the Nintendo switch. This is going to be my go-to third party controller from now on. Good button feel, great joysticks, connects instantly(maybe even faster than my first party controller) and has a nice weight to it. Not hollow feeling, but very light weight. You simply can’t do better for $30

Best budget controller made in a very long time.
Excellent controller, bought this for my Linux desktop since I wanted a true bluetooth controller since I am running out of usb ports for an another dongle. I am running Fedora Linux and the 8BitDo 2C automatically connected as soon as I pressed the pair button. Also works on the steam deck as well. The controller is on the smaller side so it's great for people with smaller hands. There's also 2 programmable buttons in between the bumpers and triggers, requires no software as well, just a combination of button presses. Just got the controller today so I do not know if it has stick drift issues. The input lag is also not even noticeable, even in sports games.

Solid Build and Great Battery Life – Just Needs a Better Grip
I’ve been using the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Bluetooth Controller (Blue) for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s an excellent piece of hardware. The build quality feels solid and premium, especially for the price. The buttons, refined D-pad, and hall effect joysticks are super responsive, and the 6-axis motion control and rumble work seamlessly with the Switch. One of the biggest positives for me has been the battery life—it lasts much longer than I expected on a single charge. I can game for days without needing to plug it in, which is a huge plus. That said, the one downside is the texture of the outer shell. It’s not uncomfortable, but it does feel a bit slick, especially during long sessions. I really wish 8BitDo offered a silicone sleeve or grip cover to improve the tactile feel and help with grip. It would make the controller perfect. All in all, it’s a great controller with impressive performance and endurance, especially at this price point. With just a bit of added attention to ergonomics or accessories, it would be unbeatable.

Amazing Budget Controller for Switch
Snagged 2 of these new during a sale for ~$20 each. Couple months in and they have been working perfectly as intended. Though some issues are that it can’t charge with the Ultimate 2C controller dock, its settings cannot be configured with 8BitDo’s app(also meaning the rumble is always active, cannot be altered, and shakes A LOT), and joysticks may pop off during more intensive play sessions(they are detachable). Despite the issues, it is more than well worth the price with nice buttons & bumpers, smooth-moving joysticks, decent ergonomics, easy connectivity with no noticeable input delay, and no drift whatsoever. If it is ever on sale again and you are in need of switch controllers, especially ones that you won’t have to care too much about, I would highly recommend getting this controller.

Won’t regret: the best: for non hd rumble games
Bumper is less meaty than first party. I don’t mind that. Just like a mouse cick, it has Responsiveness and feel, just has an adjustment period. But no adjustment period on all other buttons: they are just familiar and yet better. Everything is very precise and tactile. Huge dpad improvement; I would only say I’ve ever liked one better: the Xbox one octagon: but this is essentially a larger and incredibly similar feel to the Xbox one flat dpad. Snaps so nicely between diag and cardinal, you can really tell and twiddle that threshold so nice and clearly; knowing right what the controller is telling the console bc you have the tactile snap. Perfect controller w hd rumble being the only thing I miss a bit but well worth losing for the general rumble for the overall QOL improvement re: no stick drift and brand support for repair parts.

Good at first but then frustration occurred
Stick with the PC wired models instead and just get an adapter. I bought this for the switch 2 and I have a pink one for context, The pink one i owned was working fine because I had updated it to the newest firmware. Now This blue one i bought, there's no way to boot it into update mode. For those who aren't aware of how to do that press both the left and right bump then press start and home button it'll flash red then plug it into the computer to update the files. What happened in my experience is that the blue model doesn't even register going into update mode and on top of that the pink controller I now own doesn't even connect to my switch anymore because the software for 8bitdo suddenly went back to V1.01 meaning factory reset. It was originally at V1.2 which is necessary for the switch 2. The blue controller doesn't even register at all and doesn't get the files either and when using the update software it says "this model doesn't match ultimate 2C" unless I'm doing something wrong then I would gratefully appreciate but until this both controller and the pink one i purchased will be getting a 1 star. Great Controller
Fantastic controller! Easily pairs to Switch 2, buttons have a great clicky feel, and the turbo function is very useful. Probably the best budget option when looking for a Switch or PC controller.
