These EyePieces OPEN UP THE SKY to Stellar Levels
I PURCHASED THE 7mm, 10mm, 15mm And i use them with 2 different Newtonian Telescopes: I was Gifted a Celestron 76mm Newtonian Telescope by my Wife, and it came with 2 Celestron Plossl EyePieces 10 & 20mm... Passion took over and shortly after i got my hands on another Newtonian Telescope, 150mm that came with a 25mm Kellner Eyepiece. STARGAZING LIFE CHANGING MOMENT: My Brother gifted me a LUMINOS 10mm EyePiece and i got hooked! These EyePieces give you a really wide field of view and rise brightness to another level. My 2 Telescopes have 700mm and 750mm Focal Lenght, so very similar, but they are very different in Diameter, Double to be precise, so one is an F10 and the other is an F5, yet these EyePieces made me see the sky a whole other way with both! Some people complain that the Luminos are affected by Edge Of Field Brightness, but i noticed a bit of that only when i am in areas with Blue Light Pollution... I'd say it's a professional Defect: these EyePieces are all about Bringing Luminosity to your Eye, and that's exactly what they do. If i am in a darker area, i don't see any Bright Ring around my Focal View and the views are beyond Fantastic, they really opened up the Sky for me. As the name suggest, these LUMINOS Eyepieces bring out the Luminescence of the sky; so beware if you try watching the Moon... You may need SunGlasses. ... Well, better use a proper filter. The Eye Releif is very comfortable, i can easily move my head around a bit, and still see the object i am observing, which is quite a great feature since far Planets tend to move very quickly. I should note I don't have an Electronic Mount, so i have to manually re-adjust the Tripod periodically... with the other Eye pieces i had to do it every few seconds, with these LUMINOS i get a couple of mins of good view before i have to re-adjust... quite a nice trait. The adjustable EyeCups make it easy to re-find the proper head position after each re-adjustment, and i find it a comfy feature. But BEWARE: these EyePieces are HEAVY, very HEAVY, so you will need to adjust the DoveTail to compensate for it, or maybe you'll have to put other CounterWeights, especially if you are using a Barlow too. With the Wide Field, i can place Jupiter, or Saturn in the edge of the view, and it takes a good couple of minutes, or even more, before it crosses over the whole Field of View, giving me all rhe time needed to focus and get a good view if the passing object. There is a slight Aberration towards the edge view when i use it with my 150mm F5 Telescope, but it didn't borher me, and to be fair: I corrected that by applying a 2X Barlow Lens. And man! at that point you might as well be walking on the Moon. I loved the LUMINOS 10mm so much, that i ended up buying the 15mm and later on even the 7mm, so now i have all the 3 LUMINOS Eyepieces in the 1,25" Barrel size. These EyePieces are a bit Expensive, yet so far i found them to be worth the investment and i am enjoying them a whole lot. Do not expect the view quality of a higher priced eye piece like a Pentax or a Televue... but we are talking about completely different price ranges. I believe in this Mid Price Range, this is the best you can find. Make sure you buy a good case for them, they come only with a Foamy Box and it doesn't hold them very tight, so you will need a proper case to keep em safe... I bought myself a case where i could safely put them together (in picture) I hope you'll find this Helpful

Excellant Eyepiece
Celestron's Luminos series eyepieces are, as noted in other reviews, both very heavy and moderately expensive, They are, however, worth it. I purchased the 15, 10, and 7 mm eyepieces (all 1.25 inch barrels) for there 82 degree field of view for my 9.25 SCT, and the difference between the stock eyepieces that came with the telescope and these gems is like night and day. For beginners, I won't suggest breaking the bank until you know you love the hobby, but I would get at least one lens at some point to try it out. The lenses I purchased magnify 157X, 235X, and 336X respectively, with true fields of view of 0.5,, 0.35, and 0.24 degrees (approximately). The 7mm lens is good on my scope on nights of nearly perfect seeing. I now have all but the 23 and 31mm eyepieces, and my opinion of all has not changed. My only complaint is that they are imperfectly parfocal across barrel sizes. Still, I no longer bring out my collection of eyepieces as these are just about perfect for my viewing conditions.

Not a huge improvement but a improvement
First I bought one and it was better but not by a lot . But good enough I wanted to try another of same brand just different mag. It’s again a improvement over what came with the Celestron 6SE. I had another budget brand starts with a S and those were also a improvement over stock. I upgraded the star diagonal with Cestron with twist lock one to more secure the expensive to me anyway eyepieces. I would honestly say upgrading the Star diagonal is more important then a lense I would say don’t cheap out on Star diagonal and you can possibly get better results out of lenses you already have . I put in stock ones and yes they did look brighter installed in the new diagonal. The eye relief on these is disappointing, you have to be perfectly centered and close I mean close to see the whole field , it is a wide view but most of it is wasted on me you don’t see it all at once you have to wander around some may like this I don’t really. These are heavy so don’t really think I would trust the screw diagonal type. I had one twist down my fault for not having battle tight. I don’t regret buying these, I don’t really think they are worth the asking price. I have two different ones but if I need we’ll decide 🤣 to buy more lenses I won’t buy this style of Celestron. To do over Upgrade star diagonal first then get a lense color wheel with filters. Just my honest opinion I won’t prais it it honestly is the most I could afford to spend on lenses and thought I needed two . I would have been better off I think had I saved longer or just bought one lens that cost twice as much. For the most part with this hobby you do get what you pay for . I’m using these with a Celestron 6SE with StarSense and I definitely recommend that it was 450$ but set up is simple and my back is worth it lol Honestly lining up telescope without it was so hard for me mainly because height of me vs wife lol. I had to set it so we both could see and the bending to find the bright star that of course is always where I would have to be so uncomfortable and then wait for it to say try again. Do this 314 times using same stars it will finally work With Star sync it is set it up take off cap hit start wait 19 min and view lol So much more fun

This eyepiece is a superb complement to my 6se. A forgiving scope, as far as eye pieces go, nonetheless, this is an excellent match for my orange tube. I've been able to compare the 15mm Luminos against the less expensive stock piece (25mm), the starter kit I have (6, 8, 13, 17, 32 mm) as well as a more expensive ES 20mm. This is currently my favourite eyepiece both for magnification and field of view. And the views are crisp with no noticeable distortion from edge to edge. Good eye relief too. The Luminos 15mm is a very nice eye piece for the money. I can't say how well it works with a faster scope but for my f/10, SCT this is an excellent choice. I've since ordered the 7mm and I'll probably buy the 10mm too.

No me equivoqué. Salud y cielos claros!

Very well built and has a good weight to it. I have yet to try out extensively but from the couple of times of usage, the optics are clear and bright. Excellent quality at this price point.

This is very good eyepiece, however, little bit bright view even on my F/15 scope. But overall an amazing eyepiece and must have. it has good eye relief and 82Degree FOV one can see entire Jupiter Family with this even on F-2700mm scope...
