Simple and effective
Being completely honest, based on the price, I wasn't expecting this product to work as well as it did. In the past, removing key caps was an absolute nightmare for me, and most of them would just fly off my desk. I would spend double the time trying to find the jumpers. With these tools, I had the key caps removed in a matter of minutes, without hassle or jumpers. The brush was the first I've ever had to actually fit between the keys. It's a great product!

worked for my typewriter
I used this puller for an old IBM Selectric 1 electric typewriter that needed repairs. The metal under the keys on this particular machine are vertically aligned, and the keys felt glued-on. Putting the wire puller on each key and rocking/pulling up and down got em off! (It wasn't glue, just a nice, tight fit.) I did wrap a towel around my hands before pulling, as the keys tended to shoot off in every direction. The relatively thin wire makes the keys accessible, but it does mean you can cut into the key a little bit. If you wanted you could try to put a small piece of cloth (perhaps cut from a handkerchief) between the wire and the bottom of the key, but the damage is minimal and not visible when reassembled.

Some said they were cheaply made so being so inexpensive, I bought the three different ones for sale. These were for work on something besides a PC keyboard and the keys are much harder to pull off. They all work great. That's with about 10X the effort needed to pull a PC keyboard key. Now if one breaks, I have more.
