The sound quality on these is pretty darn good for a low cost brand. You can't expect much at this price but they do a good job. They are better than a similar priced cheap set I bought, the audio is slightly better and there is no hissing sound without noise cancel with these ones which is much better. Indoors the noise cancel makes little difference, but outside you have a nice choice of clean natural background for festivals, and when you want the atmosphere etc, or a muted background when you want to talk without so much distraction. The reason for only 4 stars? the clips are small, weak, and fiddly. They can slide off shirts/sweaters a bit too easily. Not an issue if you're sitting still indoors or walking casually, but would be a concern if out and about on the move with the risk of them getting a slight knock. I have super glued a stronger clip to the reverse side on mine. A little update - very impressed with the noise cancel when near noise. I made a video near a busy bypass and the background was cut out very well. Simple but effective little system for budget vlogging.

It's pretty amazing. However, they do exactly what they should: deliver a relatively clear voice directly to the smartphone. Absolutely sufficient for the blog post and the Instagram story, by the way. I'm surprised how little money that's possible.

This is the perfect microphone for recording live videos, vlogs, or whatever you could think of. The setup is really easy and simple. The audio is amazing! I can record something in my room and if another person has a mic in a different room, it’ll pick up it up immediately! So it has a very wide range of audio. Literally from my bedroom to the kitchen. I don’t think I’ve found as good of a mic for just under $20. I’ve bought a lot of mics over the past few years and this one is the best! I definitely recommend this 100/10! This was a great buy and worth the price.
