Solid well-made kukri
Kukris are amazing combat knives, they're just too darn heavy. I own a few kukris of different sizes This example has a few lightening cuts without compromising its structural integrity or chopping force, and a good rubber belt sheath you can quickly and easily draw from. It's just about the right size for both carry and use. Many military-style kukris have design flaws that make them difficult to draw from their sheath quickly, but this is nice as you're going to get from a usability standpoint.

Every Grandpa Needs A Kukri!
As a youth, I was enamored of the Nepali Gurka fighters. In the 60's there were some pictures of Gurka soldiers that I found in Life Magazine and I held onto them for years. Now about 50 years later Amazon had to go and offer a Kukri for sale to all the grandpas out there. You know, the ones like me who never got over the teenage Gurka trip. That's the way it went down for me. The Kukri is actually quite heavy for grandpa: cause it's quality steel. So you better put on some muscle and practice in front of your mirror, if you intend to defend your home and castle with a Kukri.

Great knife, poor scabbard
Great knife, sharp and strong. Looks awesome. Sheath/scabbard looks good and works OK but offers no protection from dirt or moisture. In fact it would probably trap dirt against the blade.

Great knife, sheath doesn't clip
Excellent blade, but sheath does not clip shut. As long as you do not require the blade to be held in while moving around vigorously, this is a solid buy.

Great knife but the deliery process leaves much to be desired.
I have to say that United's M48 brand is quite exceptional. I have their tactical tomahawk and kama as well. Both of them lived up to all expectations and the tactical kurki is no exception. An incredibly rugged piece of steel indeed. I particularly love the unique design of the sheath. I recommend checking out the Youtube videos featuring this blade if you really want to see what it can do. Most impressive. I do however have a slight complaint about the delivery process. It definitely needs improvement. I was originally told the product would arrive on either the third or fourth of the month. It never did. I was then sent an e-mail saying it would arrive on the sixth or seventh. Again they failed to deliver. A second e-mail informed me it would arrive on the 12th. It finally got here today (the 11th). A bit frustrating to say the least.

Just buy it!
This is the best kukri i've ever owned. Its so comfortable lightweight. I've yet to use it but i can feel the durability in it. The only gripe i had was that the handle was to thin and i could see it slipping out of my hand after a few chops. I wrapped the handle in racquetball grip tape for a racquet and it made the grip much more comfortable to hold. I just had to adjust the snaps on the sheath so it could keep it secure woth the thicker handle. Definitely satisfied!

Beauty and deadly
It looked so beautiful when it came. The design was excellent, there were no chips or cracks on the blade, the button latch couldn't reach all the way around the handle, but it was an great gift for my old man. He couldn't stop staring at it

Great knife!!
Very impressed! Nice weight great material! Display piece for me!! I am collecting the whole line. Handle a little small but good enough. Sharp but I'm sure it can be sharper, I'm not using it so not important. Very impressive friends back away when I hold it !! Lol
