I waited a bit to write a review on this one. I have very fine hair, but a lot of it. Dry shampoos don't work on me. I tried the sprays, the powders, I tried doing that "no shampoo" method for 6 months waiting for my scalp to "rebalance" while looking like a greased weasel, tried all kinds of special shampoos and masks and conditioners, and just gave up and started washing my hair every day with a sulfate free shampoo. That works ok, but I'm getting older, and my hair is more frail. Last year my hair grew a pathetic 4 inches, with regular end trimmings against split ends. I was crushed. So I took a shot at this one - it's not baby powder but coconut. Wee-ow, it's the best. I can go up to 4 days if I don't mind looking a little greasy on that 4th day, but I usually go 3 and then wash. Every single other dry shampoo has my scalp itching after a day. Not this one. Another unexpected result - it gives me VOLUME. Nothing else, not blowing drying, curlers, an entire bottle of hairspray - has ever, ever given my fine limp hair volume. Ever. This stuff smells good, absorbs all the oil in my hair, and my hair has grown a good inch and a half since January. An inch and a half!!! It's outdone my wildest expectations. My hair is so much stronger and I can't believe my hair looks fresh and washed after using this. I love it so much. Please don't ever stop making this!!

This is the third powder dry shampoo I’ve tried and is by far my favorite. The smell is minimal, kind of coconut-ish. The lid has a twist top under it (like glitter containers do) so the powder doesn’t go all over the lid. The picture of my hair is on day four since washing with water and shampoo and it still looked great. I had applied the dry shampoo twice in that time period. This brand doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave it feeling filmy, and it does not leave my hair powdery or white either (of course you have to massage into your scalp like any brand). Only downside is the size, it’s small. However, powder lasts a lot longer than spray dry shampoos anyway and this is cheaper than other powder brands out there. I’m definitely a happy customer and will buy again!

This is the best dry shampoo I have ever used! Other ones always leave my scalp itchy. It does leave a white hue, but I have blond hair, I can brush it and blend it in.

It works well but despite finger combing or brushing my hair after applying I end up with the white substance from the product on the neck of my clothing.

I love the ingredients and the very faint natural smell of this product! I'm trying to get away from the sprays that have terrible chemicals in them and this has very few ingredients. No aluminum, no artificial dyes, no overpowering fragrance. At first I didn't think I liked it, but I just wasn't used to using a powdered dry shampoo. I pour a little out into a dish and use a makeup brush to apply it to my roots. Then I flip my hair over and run my fingers throughout my hair by my scalp to blend it all in. It works well to absorb oil. I wouldn't say it lasts as long as the spray shampoos, but I'm ok with that because of the cleaner ingredients. I had tried another powdered version from a different company that had lavender essential oils in it and it irritated my scalp really bad. This Handmade Heroes brand doesn't bother my skin at all. Also, this company has amazing customer service. If there is one improvement that could be made, it would be changing the cap so it can double as a dish to put the product in for use. Don't count this product out until you give it a try. It's a much healthier version of oil control at a great price!

Update: I found that the key is to start using it the day after washing and then keep using it every day just a little bit. Waiting until it’s already kind of greasy is too late, it did not give me the same results. My hair is very fine and when straightened, looks very flat even on day one. Historically, I used to wash it 2 to 3 times a week but I’ve been wanting to push it to 1 to 2 times. I washed it on Saturday and started applying the dry shampoo on Tuesday. It’s now Thursday and my hair still looks like it’s on day 2 of 3. Definitely washing it tomorrow so I made it an entire week. Added bonus that I finally found a way to give my roots some lift so my hair doesn’t look so flat. Has a very light, pleasant coconut scent (and I don’t usually like coconut)

Love love love. I don’t sprinkle directly on hair but in my hands and massage on my roots. I have dark roots so sprinkling on turns them grey. Using it from the palm of my hands and massaging does not leave it grey looking. My hair does not feel dirty after using and can last 2 days before the greasy feel starts again

Didn't work as intended. Tried using little product, then more product. Also tried application with hands and when that didn't work tried it with a brush. Didn't look good either way I tried, just made hair look greasy and full of powder...

Super ergiebig, hält ewig! Man muss aufpassen das man nicht zuviel verwendet. Nicht direkt auf die Haare streuen sonst ist alles weiss! Erst auf die Hände geben und verteilen.

Love this dry shampoo, it smells great, soaks up excess hair oil and provides volume! I sprinkle into my hand and use a large make up brush to apply so that I don't overload. I can literally wash my hair once a week using this...5 ⭐️

TLDR: - Has a whitecast but goes away with enough blending/brushing - Better results and lasts longer than aerosol dry shampoos - No tackiness - No scent I used Batiste for years and thought that was the best their was. After hearing so many negative things about aerosol though I finally decided to try a powder and I am so happy I did. It is a bit messier to apply but it really does spread easily through the hair. It does have a white cast, but with enough brushing, it goes away. I'd recommend using a boar bristle brush to help with this. Once blended, it feels way better in the hair than aerosol dry shampoo's do. There's no tackiness, and the results last much longer imo. The only thing I miss about aerosol dry shampoos is the scents. This has very little (if any) scent, but that's a totally fine sacrifice for better results imo. I attached some before/afters. Ignore my overgrown roots. I'm lazy lol
