My son built a sliding barn door this year for my laundry room. The previous handle was not "chunky" or big enough to look good on the door, which is heavy hickory, almost 150 pounds. I ordered this handle instead to see if it would work. The handle is heavy duty, easy to put on, and looks great on the door. I like the feel of the handle since it is round and easy to grip. For the money, I am very pleased. It should last my lifetime.

Put this on the post next to the step at the end of our front porch. Since we had it redone it is a bit higher. This handle helps so much in getting up and down that step. I feel much safer.

Not terribly heavy duty, but will do the job. Not real pipe &/or flanges & elbows. Looks good installed.
