You almost don't even have to think about whether or not to get these lights. Get them! The price is amazing, and the functionality is so on point. I purchased the eight pack of the white motion sensor lights for my 93-year-old friend who fell last week because when she got up to use the restroom in the middle of the night, it was dark. For her, that meant she gets a little wobbly and disoriented. She fell and broke her foot and is now on a walker and in a boot. The first thing I did is bought her one of the motion activated lights for under her bed, which was great, but it lights up every time you walk by it. These lights light up every time you walk by them when it is dark out. I put a couple under her bathroom cabinet and one next to the toilet, which helps her make it safely to the commode and back to her bed. If you have any senior citizens in your life, these are a no-brainer gift to get them. However, they make sense for everyone. When the power goes out, they can easily light your path to wherever you keep the candles or flashlights. When you open your closet, they can give just enough light to give you the thing that you need to get quickly. They do not stay on for very long, which is a bonus to me because the batteries might wear out quicker. Here are a few features: They are small, so they fit everywhere. They are bright, so they illuminate a wide area. They are inexpensive and are sold in a multiple pack, which helps cover lots of dark areas. They're easy to install, using just a two-sided tape, so anyone can install them. They have options that come in different colors of red green blue and white if that's your preference. They take three, AAA batteries, which I anticipate changing quite infrequently. Get them. You were thinking about it, or you wouldn't be looking at this review. They're not very expensive, and they work!

I love these. I have them on my stairs. They light up only when it is dark and they detect motion. I can go up and down the stairs during the day without wearing batteries down. Easy to install and easy to replace batteries. Came in a pack of 8; I only needed 4. Others will be backups.

Nice and bright but the battery life does NOT last very long. They were very easy to install and they worked fine for a while.

So far these lights are amazing. We don't have a light switch at the bottom of our stairs. I placed these on every other stair and then two more at the bottom on each side. They give off just the right amount of light and stay on for about 20 seconds. They do take three AAA batteries each. Oof. I've only had them for about a week, so I can't speak to the battery life. I love them so far. I cleaned the wood with alcohol before sticking them on. So far, so good.

Small but mighty! Easy to mount. Easy to use. Lights up those areas that are dim or dark nicely. I have some in my bathroom and rarely do I find myself turning the light on. The motion detection is a bit sensitive but I’m okay with it. Yes, they take 3 AAA batteries but use rechargeable batteries instead. I really like these lights.

I put these little motion lights on the stairs because my kids used to feel scared going downstairs at night. They work perfectly! One of the stickies just... didn't stick at all, which sucked. The light level was exactly what I wanted for the hallway at night, it wasn't so bright that the kids woke up but it was bright enough I didn't trip on a horribly placed lego or butt scooter. One of the sensors did have a delay but none of them flickered at all, it was all strong and solid lighting. I don't remember how long the batteries lasted but it was about three weeks before I noticed two of the sensors weren't turning on anymore, but I have a 6 and 3 year old so... could've been them sabotaging it. I'd get this again in my current situation in life with a 6 and 3 year old who knock into the walls and bust things up. When they're more grown, I'd definitely get a higher quality version. But this works exactly how I want it to and I won't cry to sleep after my kids inevitably destroy it.

These are really cheap and simple, but just what we needed to brighten some dark steps. Motion activated and battery powered they are surprisingly bright when on, and turn off automatically after a minute of no motion. We've placed them along every other step leading down to the dark basemen where shadows make the trip trickyt, but with double-sided tape they can stick anywhere. Pro tip, they're not just for steps you can use them in a dark room or closet or garage to help locate switches and emergency items when the power goes out. Also bright enough to act as a small night light in bathrooms and baby / kids rooms so they can turn them on easily for a little reassurance when needed. They do take 3 AAA batteries, so stock up, especially since these packages come with 8 devices, which makes the price very reasonable.

Excellent little lights. Bought them so we can leave the hallway light off at night. Bought the 16 pack, but they illuminate so well that only needed to install 8. Nice to have a few extra on hand. Motion sensors work, and they turn off after only 30 seconds or so of no movement.

The lights work well except for 1. Hoping the manufacturer will see this and reach out to replace the 1 faulty one.

The 8 Pack Motion Sensor Stair Lights arrived in an Amazon box with another boxed product, however the orange 8 Pack Motion Sensor Stair Lights product box was crushed/damage and then added into the Amazon box as the other boxed product was in perfect shape. Fortunetly all eight (8) lights were not damaged. Also, my mistake, I thought they were rechargeable ligkts but they are not. Each light requires 3 AAA batteries but from the comments expressed here they last a long time so no worries. Set four (4) of the lights on the twelve (12) step enclosed/walled staircase, one (1) light every three (3) steps and that works great. Plenty of light with sensitive sensors that turn off after 30 to 40 seconds. Definitely a 5 star investment for every household that wants to save on electric bills. Hallways, closets, tool rooms also are well lit up to see everything. *EDITED - Purchased 3 more "8 Pack Motion Sensor Stair Lights" ($25.99 sale price) for gifting as several have admired the sensor quality, brightness and longevity of battery life.
