Insert the card first, then connect the reader, then open Files and look under Browse to copy or move. For Photos imports, a DCIM folder helps, but Files sees everything so you can copy and then Add to Photos if needed. exFAT or FAT32 cards tend to be the most reliable for iOS and iPadOS, and large capacities like 64 GB to 256 GB are fine when formatted exFAT. The USB port is for low power accessories like flash drives, not spinning hard drives. If nothing shows up, reseat the card, close and reopen Files, or reboot once. For GoPro users, copy the entire DCIM folder to keep metadata intact. Simple, reliable, and perfect for quick transfers on the go.

good sd card reader, i haven’t had a problem with it. you can also put a micro sd card in too. good pricing as well. all i have to do is plug my sd card into the reader and plug my phone and i can find my sd card in my files or in my photos. really easy to use
