Im leaving five stars because my expectations were pretty low given the price of this. I figured if it helped some and I liked it, I'd use it until I could afford a better one down the road. My mind is blown at how well this works. For visualization, I put a small jar of terrain grass on it and as you can see, it tosses and tumbles it immediately. My only complaint is the area in which you apply pressure to begin the vortex is rather tight, so it takes a little trial and error, but it really is astonishing how well this works.

Extremely easy to use, worked perfectly right out of the box. If you’re looking for something to mix modelling sized acrylic paint bottles then look no further. It’s slightly slower in comparison to some of the more expensive vortex mixers out there; however, that’s completely offset by the low price of this mixer. I would definitely recommend this mixer if you are a casual hobby painter. Although, if you’re a professional painter and your project time is more valuable then you might consider a more expensive mixer with a higher RPM. In conclusion, great mixer and super affordable.

I have used this to mix my acrylic paints, in a variety of pot sizes, including standard dropper bottles and GW paint pots. It works great, helps my paints last longer by removing the separation effect and also makes mixing a lot easier. Recommended to miniature painting hobbyists.
