Wrights Cord Drawstring, Black

After some research, I decided on the 1/4 in drawstring as a replacement for some sweatpants. On one very heavy pair with pockets it was perfect. A great fit and work as well as expected/hoped. On the other 3, the drawstring is too thick. So thick that I can use it to hold my pants up without tying. I will put a review in there, but have to say the Easy Threader is awesome. Absolutely love it and it's cheaper if you buy direct. The ends fray a little - clear nail polish fixes the problem.So, basically this drawstring is very good, but for most applications 1/8 in is the way to go.For those who are wondering, this is a cord with very little stretch (which is exactly what you want to hold up sweatpants). I used less than half on my 4 sweatpants, so 12 yards is plenty.

This could just have easily been a 5 Star Rating. Since my only minor issues are more my problems and not the product. Basically, the drawstring works. My two small issues; 1) just a little too stretchy for heavy sweats - too easy to stretch enough for pants to slip somewhat and 2) the 1/4" size is larger than I thought - 1/8" seemed just a little too small for heavy sweatpants, but the 1/4" is just a little too large, and being a little too stretchy, defeats the holding heavy sweatpants in place issue (issue #1).Again, all in all, the product works.

I use this to restring some of my older gi pants that just have the fabric band. It works great and seems to be exactly the same as gi cords that they sell for a larger mark up at other places. It's just stretchy enough and once you get the hang of melting the ends so it doesn't unravel you're in business.

Couldn’t use it for what I needed. Had to return it. Seemed like durable cord though.

Not to good of a deal, this product is a cord within a cord top layer separate from the inner cord making it hard to thread

Purchased this for khaki work shorts to replace the one I broke. Slightly thicker than what normally comes on khakis. Not terribly stretchy which is why I wouldn't recommend them for everyday pants. Very strong however. Stays tied without issues. Would work best for hoodies.

Warning: this is good drawstring material for pajama pants and duffel bags! Too thick to go through the drawstring stoppers I bout for my shoe bags. But nice. I will keep it for when I make pajama pants and duffel bags.
