Elmer's Slime Starter Kit

Why did you choose this product over others?: Great product. Creates two very big quantities of slime, each filling a 400ml container. The product is straight forward to use some much so that the 10 year old was able to do it from the pictures without reading the instructions, which are in a number of languages. Slime lasted well in it pot in a very hot car all day and ones in had a little air to it was back to it's original consistency. Quality: The Elmer brand is well known and you get the quality in the product.

This was fab and my daughter absolutely loved making her own slime! Simple and easy to use and hours of fun!

Lovely texture - stretchy, clicky and the right level of stickiness. The glitter glues are pretty colours and the slime is very easy to make so is great for kids. However, for one slime, it says to pour one bottle of glue. It only gives 2 clear glues meaning I was only able to make 2 coloured slimes so I would prefer to have 4 clear glues to be able to try all the different coloured glitters and not have any left over.

We paid £13.99 for this, and I thought this was too much for what was in the kit considering how long it lasts. You get two bottles of glue and two bottles of activator, so enough to make two batches of slime. The kids did enjoy pouring and mixing the two liquids, they thought they were proper scientists doing experiments. We got them dressed up in lab coats and goggles. The amount of slime produced in each batch is small, less than a tennis ball in size. Consistency is good but keep it in a container, as when left it always tries to flatten itself out, and resembles a pancake every time it’s taken out. It’s also very sticky so keep away from paper or any dirty surface. After a couple of days it has started to harden and lost its slimy texture, so that's as long as it lasts. The colour changing part is reliant on uv light, left on a window sill in December you could see it had begun to change colour, but not much, it’s not really enough to add much to the whole experience anyway. We have bought better ready mixed slime before. Not particularly great or good value for money.

Easy to use and slime came out well theres enough to make two big lots of slime. 5 year old was very happy. Glitter doesnt rub off on your hand either

Ho comprato questo kit per mia figlia. Lei mi ha chiesto esplicitamente questa marca perché su youtube ci sono tanti che la usano per lo slime. Devo dire che è di un ottima qualità e facile da usare. Il fatto che la colla sia trasparente è molto bello...lo slime viene una meraviglia!
