I was in desperate need of a very good exfoliant after using a product that seriously dried out my skin and made my pores look enlarged and my skin really dry. If you use this as a hand wash, five stares. Otherwise, it's ok. I received this and the first time I used this, I was amazed at how much "peeling" effect it had. My skin is really scaly, so I washed it again(because I could still feel the dry skin), this time I used a scrubber with it and did not have the same "peeling" effect. I wondered if it was really peeling my face, or my hands. So this morning I woke up, put on nitrile gloves and washed my face, no effect, it felt clean, but no "peeling". Then I went ahead, took the gloves off and just washed my hands, sure enough that "peeling" effect was present, all over my hands. My hands looked plump and youthful, they felt smooth and clean, my face, not as much, but it did clean. I will continue to use on my face, there is no harm in not, unless something changes for good over time, I will not buy again. Longtime use might make a difference, but the "peeling" effect on the face is a lie, it's your hands.
