We bought this slushie machine for a kids’ birthday party and used it to make fruit punch slushies, and it was a huge success. The biggest win is that it requires no ice, which makes setup and cleanup so much easier. There is a little trial and error at first to get the liquid and sugar portions just right, but once you dial it in, it works very well. For fruit punch slushies, the machine needed about 25-30 minutes of warming up before the slushie texture was perfect, which I think is pretty fast for a home machine. The real-time temperature display is helpful, and the preset modes make it easy to use even during a busy party. The kids loved the results, and the adults were impressed too. We’re already planning to try coffee frappés and milkshakes next. Overall, a fun, versatile machine that’s great for any parties or social gatherings. Highly recommended!

Great slushie machine. I was a bit skeptical at first, since all you're doing is adding soda and nothing else. However, this thing blew me away. It was dead simple to use. The kids picked the soda, we turned on the machine and within about 10-15 mins or so, we started to get real slush. It was amazing to watch. You can change the temp at which the machine freezes the soda, which will result in thicker or more liquidity. This thing tastes like story bought slushie. I'm very impressed. Clean up was simeol, just run a clean cycle, the. Take out the bin and give it a rinse. Very awesome.

I said what I said. I usually love Ninja and their products. I currently own and use frequently the Ninja foodie dehydrator, a Ninja Creami Deluxe, and a Ninja blender. I love all of those. But the Ninja Slushi, for me, isn't great. Granted, the Ninja slushi makes good soda pop slushies. But it can't do milkshakes at ALL. It only ever made cold chocolate milk for us, and that was 4 attempts in 2 separate Ninja machines, in addition to putting the Ninja slushi in a cold room (not the kitchen). So that was a dud for us. Enter this! Who knew a random Chinese brand could out milkshake the Ninja? I didn't. But after a mere 10 minutes of this, it gets us a nice frozen milkshake. It also slushes pop super fast. Pros? Better product. Better slush, I like that it displays the actual temp. Cons? Probably hit or miss product since it's less popular than Ninja. Also the keypad is weird and the buttons to start the machine aren't actually buttons. They're funky. You can't actually press milkshake, you need to press the power button to go through the entire list of 5 to get you what you want. Also the dispenser tab doesn't retract automatically. You need to push it back up. But hey it gives us finally the chocolate milkshakes we were craving, so we're happy. I'll do ice cream later and post results. Might drop to 4 star later if the buttons become a hassle and give out or if the dispensing lever is wonky (it leaks slightly but you can tighten the bottom screws as said in another review), and I'm worried it won't make ice cream well. Oh also the back comes apart and has a gasket there, so time will tell if it leaks from there. Strange that it comes apart, but it makes for easier access to clean at least.

Product works great, slushies come out perfect. However, I’ve tried a few recipes and it does not make ice cream/soft serve well like it says. Also, you cannot use any diet or zero sugar products, they will harden ice on the machine and burn out the motor… luckily, I caught mine before it became a big issue. The inability to use diet products is why it only got four stars from me. it’s not a big deal except it would’ve been nice to know before I bought the product, I love the flavor of Diet Coke and would’ve liked to have a slushy for that. It makes 3-4 medium size drinks through one cycle. Super easy to clean also, so that’s nice. It’s not very loud. Have had no issue with leakage. Make sure it has some distance like it tells you to from the back of the counter. This was a good investment I am glad I bought.

Very impressed with machine. Works just as good as more expensive models that I have also purchased. Easy to operate and clean.
