I like this one because it is chicken and not beef. Beef broth often has slightly more type I and III collagen, while chicken broth is rich in type II collagen for cartilage and easily digestible. That's why I chose chicken broth. Great quality taste my dog loves. Great value for the money. It also smells good.

This product is phenomenal! My cats go crazy for it! I like to add extra hydration to their food without sacrificing flavor and this is the perfect solution! It's a powder so it doesn't go bad at room temp which makes for easy storage. I take the powder and mix it with hot water, it clumps a little so I'd recommend a food processor if you have one, then I add pureed cat food and mix until it's room temperature, safe for the cats. They go crazy for the flavor and their coats have been looking extra shiny lately! Whenever I grab the bottle they get so excited, knowing they're in for a delicious meal! I have tried the beef which they love but I'm also excited for them to try the chicken as well! I think everyone with cats or dogs who eat wet food should buy this product! It's so good! The cats have spoken! Lol!

We have a 7 year old mini Aussie and a 15 year old Westie. Both dogs get this powder with their dry dog-food dinner meal We add a small amount of water over their food. Neither dog is a picky eater AND both dogs really like the broth; as they get really exited at dinner feeding when I put this powder in it. Our Westie is "allergic" to food with grain/glutton. Glutton is noted in the Westie by her itching up to a day after eating anything with glutton in it. This powder does not cause her to itch so... all is good. Yet we have not seem any benefits to their eating the food with powder. That is, other then both being really excited at dinner time.

Must be mixed in shaker. Very potent. Made my cat sick. But will try again by reducing powder to water ratio. Update: My mistake; it was something else that caused my cat to vomit. I tried the powder again, using less powder than recommended. Car loved it. I mixed in a shaker bottle, using 1 T for 12 oz of hot water. Made a nice broth that I mixed with my cats kibble. She lapped it all up before even touching her food. I initially began using broth to help fill her tummy while reducing amount of kibble (vet recommended weight loss). My apologies to the manufacturer for inaccurately assuming it was their product that caused my cat to vomit. It’s actually a wonderful product, and very affordable in contrast to buying cartons of chicken broth. It’s also nearly impossible to find carton broths that do not have added onions and garlic - both no-nos for cats. Highly recommend!

I TNVR the ferals in my neighborhood, so I also feed them, and the ones I haven't trapped yet. Since I put out a lot of dry food, I was worried that they wouldn't be getting enough fluids. Anyhow, between the taste of this, and the meat scraps I add to the liquid, they seem to hydrate quite well now. Also helpful in the winter to have something beside plain water in their heated bowl to entice them to drink. (This cat who is on my spring trapping list, has gone back to drink and fish out meat scraps several times this evening.)
