Not connecting
No longer connecting after 9-months. Rebooted multiple times, re-connected the cable multiple times; however, the issue remains.

Password Encrypted Hardware Failed Setup
Hard drive arrived in good condition, but the Password Encrypted Hardware "did not work at all". The Seagate Toolbox software refused to recognize the Hard Drive Serial Number and it would not activate the software. This essentially made the drive completely useless for Password Protection and it had to be returned. Which is the exact reason I purchased it. It seems the security was not done right during the refurbish stage.

More Than Enough Space
My guy is an attorney and fills up his laptop memory with files on top of files. I have this same Seagate and thought it would be helpful for him. It has been. he has had his memory freed up and is able to use his laptops now while storing his necessary files using portable memory. The price for this is a bargain. I recommend it.
