Style 1 - Army Green

I've been fishing for a long time but have always relied on traditional tackle boxes to store / carry my gear. As I am getting older, I realize that I don't want a ton of things that I have to lug around with me, and thought about getting a fishing vest. I looked at lots of different models and chose this one because of the features and price point. I was concerned at first that it wouldn't fit (I'm fun sized), but this was quickly dispelled as soon as it arrived. Out of the gate, the unit is cinched up about at a thin 5th grader size, but with some easy adjustment nylon buckles, I was able to make it not only the length I needed in front, but also the width adjustment from the size flaps as well. It fits perfectly. My next thought or concern was that the pockets (there are tons of them), we going to protrude too far forward, and be in the way... I primarily use light tackle, ultralight rods and a fly rod. The forward projection of the pockets didn't hinder my movements at all. Winning. The pockets are spacious and the front facing double stack pockets are large enough for whatever you might wanna pack in there. I found I could open the larger of the two pockets and leave it unzipped for easier access to frequently used items. The pockets are structurally firm enough to not allow your items to spill out all over the place, even while bending over to retrieve items on the ground, or two remove a rock from my shoe. The pockets all feature zippers with bright orange cord pulls, so you can't miss them. This being said, there are a few inside the vest without pulls, but a pull against your body would be uncomfortable at best, so kudos to the design team! Pockets... tons of them, (Large, small, meshed, you name it). Each time I use the vest I find a new pocket, so it's a bit like a treasure hunt! The vest features an open mesh design on the back, so you won't sweat and get all sticky backed. A hot backpack is like walking around with a toilet plunger stuck between your shoulder blades, this pack alleviates all that nonsense and makes hauling your gear around a breeze... See what I did there? Anyways... The front mesh pouch on the left side even has a square of Velcro for attaching your favorite morale patch. There are orange loops throughout the surface area that are perfect for hanging retractable lanyards or other tools for this and that. There are even highly reflective regions on the vest that will show up very easily at night, when you're skulking around the pond or lake in the late evening, or walking back to your truck alongside the road, you'll be noticed! My only regret is that I didn't order one of these years ago. It's a game changer as far as I'm concerned. I have a long beard, and it did struggle with some of the components, but that can be mitigated easily enough. Every time I go fishing now, I simply load up my vest, grab my rods, and it's off to the fishin' hole.

Excellent fishing vest! Perfect fit and adjustable as well. Plenty of pockets are all zippered as well. Only way to secure your important fishing items while on the stream! Properly ventilated and looks great besides 👍

I’m really happy with this fishing vest. The quality is excellent, the material feels durable, and it’s surprisingly lightweight and comfortable to wear. What I love most are the pockets—there are so many, and they’re well-placed, which makes it super easy to organize all my fishing gear.

So I bought this vest for an upcoming camping trip I trout fished all week as well Wore this vest every day all day while fishing vest felt super comfortable easy to access the front pockets. Easy to adjust to fit. It was quite comfortable. Definitely recommend these vest if you’re a fisherman. The vest itself is lightweight until you start adding your gear but still wasn’t too bad and it looks good.

Outstanding product, have been fishing with it on shoreline and in my kayak and handles everything very well and very comfortable. Lots of pockets and lots of room for all my fishing gear / cell phone. all I have to do is carry fishing pole and everything else is within the vest. great value and great buy. highly recommend - make sure get floatation option.

Bought this vest for our salmon fishing trip in Pulaski, NY. All your fishing is done while standing in the middle of the moving water of the river. You are not close to shore and too many people walking by your gear if you left it there to feel safe. It was a pleasure wearing your tackle box with everything you need on your chest. I even modified it so I could backpack my fishing net off the vest (keeping both hands free to fish) so it would be at the ready if I needed it in the middle of the river while retrieving a fish. Lots of pockets, lots of room for all your stuff. Love this vest!
