8BitDo Mobile Clip for 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Controller, Adjustable Phone Mount (49-85mm)

Some reviewers here clearly tried to use this product with the wrong controller. This will not fit an Xbox controller. It is perfectly designed for the Ultimate 2. The plastic might not hold up over time, but at $15 i don't mind replacing it from time to time. I like this little guy way more than my last phone mount.

I bought a Bluetooth Xbox controller assuming this would work with it to play mobile games and the end piece broke that attached to the controller 10-15 minutes while I was playing. If you have something as thick as an Xbox controller don’t use it. Waste of money. I tried to get a refund but they won’t give it.

This clip is a fabulous product. If you already own an 8BitDo Ultimate 2, this clip is much much cheaper than buying a full telescopic phone controller. You probably don't want to try to travel with the Ultimate 2, but IMO telescopic phone controllers are also pretty bulky themselves. (Although buying this clip plus a controller travel case is still cheaper than buying a telescopic phone controller...) A couple tips to get the most out of this clip: 1) MEASURE YOUR PHONE BEFORE BUYING. My phone is only slightly less wide than the maximum clip size. Hopefully you don't have a ginormous phone that doesn't fit this... ? 2) THIS CLIP IS ONLY FOR THE 8BITDO ULTIMATE 2. Turn your controller around and look for the two notches in the back that this clip is made to dig into. If you can't see those notches, don't buy it. 3) TIGHTEN HER DOWN. My phone flopped around in this until I found out that the joint has a thumbscrew. Get your phone in the clip at the right angle, then screw the joint down. Works better if you use both hands, each hand gripping an opposite side of the thumbscrew. 4) SKIP BLUETOOTH. It's so laggy. It's SO laggy. I can't tell whether this is my phone's bluetooth, or the controller's bluetooth, or what. You either want to be hardwired (usb C-to-C, probably a 12" cable, data transfer capability required), or you want to fish the wifi receiver out of the base of your dock and move it to your phone.

It works quite well. I bought it in anticipation of Destiny Rising as I enjoyed the public-ish beta. Now I'm enjoying Diablo again. It really makes mobile games easier to play. I am disappointed that this item was previously used. The box had clearly broken seal and torn top. But, it works and works well.

I really love this contorller, but let me help you with the main issue. The mobile app is hot garbage. It has like 1.5 stars on the Play Store and App Store. It doesn't work. But what I didn't know is that you don't need it. The PC app works fine, and if you put this into Bluetooth mode and plug it into the PC with a usb, you can program it from the PC. Once programmed, it just works. The controls feel great. I am using it so I have a seamless experience playing games on my computer and my mobile devices, and it works great. Steam link works great. My previous mobile controller doesn't work. Fortnite plays just as good on my Tab s9 ultra as my pc with this controller. Pretty amazing to be playing such good games on my mobile devices.

Fits the Ultimate 2 controller as it should. Light handling would likely be advisable when moving about with it. You can use the side notches to adjust the screen how you'd like above the controller. Can hold my S24 ultra pretty good, even with a cover, but i can tell it'd be a bad idea to suddenly jerk the controller too hard (decent-moderate grip). My only peeve with the mobile clip is that it covers the 2.4 & bluetooth option switch behind the controller. Otherwise, this is a good device you can use on the go, including on flights.

IMobile game a lot and I needed to get a something to hold my phone in game at the same time. Now I do have an 8 bit dough, open it. Bluetooth controller is not the 2, it is the one and the clip itself. It does not fit all the way snug. It has a little ledge that does not clip around correctly, so it's on their rule loose. Maybe it's built for the 8 bit dough, 2, possibly I think it should label that specifically if that's the case, but it does not fit very snugly. Fortunately, I have another controller that does fit it right, so I'm going to keep it because the product. Got this so I can play my games on my phone with a controller. I had it on for only one hour before it just snapped off. The amount of the clamp piece was under was too much, and the plastic just flew off. Guess you get what you pay for.

Un accesorio muy sencillo, si lo utilizas con el 8Bitdo Ultimate 2. Es una especie de adaptador que se encaja en la base del mando que ya tengas, y en la parte de arriba tienes la sujeción del móvil que se puede ajustar a tu gusto. Lo he probado con un teléfono bastante pesado (Xiaomi 15 Ultra) y me sorprende que el peso esté tan bien distribuido, pensaba que haría fuerza hacia adelante, pero no, es bastante cómodo, aunque para sesiones más largas obviamente es mejor un gamepad de estilo Switch/Steamdeck etc.

Absolutely perfect fit for Ultimate 2 and I have found it comfortable for long playing times. I initially bought it for the older version, hoping that as the dimensions were similar it would fit. It does fit on but will slip off if it gets knocked at all, so I wouldn't recommend it for that.

Good quality and works good. Fits also a Dual sense 5 but doesn't hold as well. Good for the price
