Great intro, lots of parts and sensors!
Loads of fun. Lots to parts including sensors, LEDs, fan motors, servos, humidity/temp sensors, jumper wires and a very large sheild with even more PWM, analog, TX and RX pins. Great starter set. I am brand new to this whole thing. My experience with it has been a fun. An a great intro to code and robotics an how they can be programmed to work together.

Very Complete starter kit!
Has everything you need to start experimenting with Arduino including a Mega card which very few kits come with. Tested all components and only had issue with two. One segment of the 1 digit 7 segment display would not light and the Temperature Humidity sensor read sometimes sometimes didn't but that may have been connection issues, don't know. The Tutorial included is great for most components but the tutorial for the LCD display is for a display without a controller card. The one they sent had a controller card so had to get external tutorial for that component. Test sketches and wiring diagrams supplied for the components they send. Didn't like the supplied breadboard, components seemed a bit loose in it but I never actually had connection issues with it. I just like the tighter feeling of other breadboards I have. All in all, GREAT value.

Perfect for teaching beginners!!!
I bought these kits for every student in an Arduino programming workshop that I did a couple of summers ago and they were a huge hit. I had to purchase very few other things for the project we were creating, and this kit included so much that they could take home and use for other projects that it made a great jumping-off point for newcomers. The price of this kit is a huge cost saving over buying everything individually so even if you're not going to use it all right now, you'll have a nicely organized bin of parts when you need something for your next Arduino or Raspberry pie project. Due to the low cost, I kept a few extra kits in my shop as gifts for folks who show an interest in learning to code or build IOT devices.

Great value - tons of parts
I wanted to entertain the child in me and also help my kid get started with micro controller projects. This kit comes with a tons of sensors and connectors. It was about 30% less than the price offered by the nearest competitor. There are some minor differences from the competitor's kit with the quality of potentiometers, pin numbers on the Mega board on the side of pins themselves (in addition to the board itself) and a few other minor things. Instructions aren't great, but that's ok - one can always download from other better sources. There are tons out there and formal instructions are only to get you started and can only take you so far. Don't complain much about this. There were no brand / origin markings on the Mega board whatsoever. Didn't matter as long as stuff worked, which it did. All parts were much smaller than I had imagined them to be :-). Try to use Snap4arduino (download from snap4arduino.rocks) if you like to program Arduino Mega using drag and drop blocks like in a scratch like interface. It works with Mega well. You would still need the Arduino IDE also even if you used snap4arduino.

Lafin Mega
Too expensive. Using the term Pallet is deceptive. What a joke on me. People, don't buy.
