Perfect replacement
Worked exactly as expected -- seems identical to the original guard that the tracks came with. It was easy to install, but you have to go slowly, and it helps to have another set of hands to help.

What can I say. It is Festool so it is high quality and expensive. When you use the best it is easy to work in a production mood.

The only one to use
Have replaced many splinter guards on my Festool guide rails. Have tried the cheaper options but they never really adhered well even after a thorough cleaning with Acetone. A little pricey but well worth it.

Staying attached
So far so good, my replacement strips are staying attached. I've learned to not store these in a hot trailer anymore.

Better than the dewalt replacement
I have a dewalt track saw and I tried using the dewalt replacement chip strip and they started coming unglued almost right away. Switched to the festool and I have never been happier. I just wish that the festool was 14 inches longer so I could replace both sides of my 59" and 46" track. This is the reason for the 4 star rating.
