Great Reflex; Great Value; Great Customer Support!
The overall construction, material, finish, and quality seem to be very good. However, the red dot on the unit I received is very dim at its brightest setting. Was hoping the two batteries included in the package were bad; so I tried using two fresh batteries and no change in the intensity settings. The top level brightness setting I would consider to be the lowest brightness. Anything beyond a dark room and the red dot would not be usable. Hopefully the unit I received is defective; this one is being returned. I'll contact UTG Support Monday to see what they say about the brightness levels. 12/21/18 Update - UTG support indicated the reflex sight seemed to be defective and suggested that I return to Amazon or send it to them for inspection. Opted for the Amazon return and replacement with exact item. The UTG replacement I received functions okay. It's mounted on my Browning Buck Mark .22. I have less that 100 rounds at this point but the UTG Reflex zeroed easily and has held zero. I don't expect any issues from this point forward and would purchase this product again. July 2020 Update. I used this RMR for about 18 months but just wasn't happy with the brightness of the red dot. I decided to return this unit to Leapers/UTG to have the brightness function checked. Requested the RMA via their product support site and received the RMA number and instructions for the return within a couple of weeks. Mailed it off and received an email a week after Leapers/UTG received the product stating they would be replacing the returned unit with an updated OP-RDM20R. Received it today (8/3/2020) and it has 8 brightness levels and there are no issues now with the intensity of the red dot; fully usable outside in bright sunlight. Fit, materials and workmanship are excellent, same as the original unit. I'm not expecting any problems with durability or holding zero once I start using the OP-RDM20R. Very impressed with Leapers/UTG and the customer support received on this issue. I will be purchasing additional products from them as needs arise.

Love it !!! Great value, solid construction.
Fast shipping. 4moa dot is perfect for my airsoft gun. Used a Glock D1 mos plate and attached to my slide. Fit perfect. Comes with 2 batteries, adjustment screwdriver, picatinny mount, different length mounting screws, torx and allen keys. Simple adjustments on brightness. Push for ON... push 4 times for 4 different brightness levels ... hold 5 seconds to turn off. Returns to last setting when turned back on. Not sure how it will hold up on a G 17... but allignment holds well on CO2 with blowback.

Not for use with 10mm...
Decent. Not Durable. I don’t know what this thing CAN handle, but I know one thing that it can not; Glock 20, 10mm. Broke the elevation adjustment or busted the emitter loose after just 30 rnds. Things started off great, got it to zero within 15 rnds (3 x 5rnd groups) and after firing the second mag (another 15 rounds in the same 3 x 5 rnd groups) I loaded the third mag and sure enough the dot had dropped and was now buried aligned with the base of the front sight post. It’s UTG so I can’t say that I expected much, but I’d also venture to say that $70 is a bit much for something that should probably only be used for airsoft or super low-power calibers in rifle/carbine platforms, not handguns... However, having purchased this to experiment with the idea of putting a MRDS on my handgun I can say that the $70 was worth the knowledge and experience gained. Will absolutely be investing the money towards a quality Holosun or Vortex to replace this.

Great value!
I purchased this guy when it was just shy of $60. For the price, I'd day that's it's pretty solid. The construction feels amazing and super durable, and I wouldn't be concerned about it getting banged up. The brightness is OK, bit not amazing. When outside it basically has to be at it's Max brightness (it has 6 levels). It's easy to zero using a screw driving, however there are no markings suggesting how much of a change each click is, but the manual reveals they are 1 moa adjustments. The battery is mounted in the bottom, meaning that you need to break zero in order to change it out... Which might happen sooner if you leave it on because it has no auto off feature. I originally used this on my bolt action scout rifle and it was really nice to use, amazingly quick and accurate target aquisition. I have since moved it onto a 9mm handgun, where it has continued to function perfectly without any issues. Others have reported it turning off while shooting- I have not had this issue. I suspect that those people don't have the battery inserted fully in, and placing a thin sliver of paper or cardboard in there to keep the battery in may help. If I were to nitpick for issues... I wish it had an auto-off timer of time kind, but at the price you can't complain. I also wish it had dedicated brightness up/down buttons, rather than only a single button. If you compare this to the name brand ones that are $250-$600, I would say this is a far better value. Those others like the Burris or vortex I would recommend over this if it is within budget- but for those looking to save some cash, this little guy has served me very well so far.

Shocked at the build quality and performance
The only thing that is going to keep me from running this red dot on all my pistols is that they don't fit an RMR slide melt. Other than that, I was absolutely blown away by the finish, build quality, and all the extras included in the box. It came with two sets of screws, rail mount, adjustement tool, ect. I put 200 rounds through it mounted on a canik tp9sfx held zero perfectly, clear and easy to see, I literally have nothing negative to say about it. I can't believe it only cost 50 bucks, I'm going to put another 500 rounds through it before I give it two thumbs up but right now I am VERY happy with this purchase. UTG is really stepping up their game. Last note, the aluminum shroud thickness is almost twice that of the cheapest vortex micro, but about half that of an RMR. I think it could take a drop, but not nearly as well as an RMR, there I found something negative.

I was unable to mount the product because the Hook for between the rail was to large , it was impossible at weaver standard , and with the mil-std 1913 you have to force it like a nuts ... But the dot is fin , bright , and not blurry . Its a good product but not for my use It don't make cheap for the price.

Easy to install, lets me shoot 25mm groups at 25 yards from my S&W Victory with ease. It came with a battery, but not the right one. The brightest setting is really bright and highly visible even in bright environments. It truly is a micro sight, so it is small, for better or for worse.
