As I wrote in the ammo review, this bug gun has made a huge difference in our summers. We have carpenter bees and for years lost the war, resorting finally to chemicals to get them under control. They would hover around our front porch, back yard, mail box, etc. This gun is easy to use, a good quality, good for the environment, functions well, doing the job of shredding the bees' wings so they will fall to the ground to be stepped on. Either that, or the wings are damaged and they will soon drop and not return. It does kill bugs! And yes, it is fun to use. We've recommended it to our family and friends who have carpenter bees and they now have victory over these pests. Excellent product.

I was worried about buying this because some of the comments in the review. But with flies swarming the inside of my house every time I opened the door made cause for desperation. I ordered the gun with the laser attachment and Oooo baby it kills these flies up to 8 feet away. I know the distance because my rabbit hutch is 8 feet long and I was killing them while standing on the other side of the hutch. Now that’s a straight forward and downward shots I don’t know the longest distances for upward shots yet.

Well made and adjustable. Unfortunately when you put the laser on the bug, the bright light might scare them into moving. Then they may be tougher to hit as a moving target. I had a much easier time hitting crickets without using the laser - using the built in sights instead. I recommend ordering spare batteries with the laser. The batteries that came with mine died within a couple of minutes of setting it up.

I was excited to get this product. When I got it and attached it to my fly eliminator, I leveled up my fly killing ability. No longer was I a close order killing machine, but now I can attack from the best concealed locations. they never saw me coming. I could low crawl anywhere in the house without them noticing. But the button stopped working. It does not click anymore. It still comes on when you hold the button down, but won't stay on. This has given the flies the advantage, I no longer can attack from a distance. It is now back to close quarter combat. The fight still rages on. The company has a good product here, just needs to work the bugs out. No pun intended.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Added functionality for any bug-a-salt rifle. When you want to target a stationary fly without having to stare down the sight simply light it up with the laser and let it have it.. Maybe I was lucky but once I had attached it to my rifle I didn't even need to alter the pointer... it was on point from the start. This is slightly expensive for what it is but if you are a serious fly hunter it is a must.

Mit dem Laser-Pointer wird die Salzkanone zum perfekten Fliegenkillergerät. Jeder Schuss ist jetzt ein Volltreffer. Das ist gut im Sinne der Fliege und der Sauberkeit. Bei jedem Schuss wird halt Salz verstreut. Damit muss man leben. Eine herkömmliche Fliegenklatsche macht hässliche Flecken und kommt deshalb für mich nicht infrage. Der Laser lässt sich in der horizontalen und vertikalen Achse einstellen. Dementsprechend war ich positiv überrascht, dass dies geht. Darauf wird in der Beschreibung des Artikels nicht hingewiesen. Damit ist jedoch der hohe Preis des Produktes rechtfertigt. Ein echtes Präzisionsteil. Ich würde es wieder kaufen.

Great tool for combatting those annoying attackers. If adding that laser targeting pointer your AA defence cannot miss. ;)

Pas de déception avec la marque bug-a-salt. J'ai amélioré grandement mon tir réflexe grâce au laser et j'ai même réussi à toucher des moustiques ! Merci beaucoup !!
