Depend Shields Incontinence Pads for Men, Light Absorbency, 90 Count, Packaging May Vary

These fall right in between a light days pad and a Tena. They stay in place if you put them in correctly, but the glue is really strong. I’ve learned to place them on the garment before putting it on. Works great for long runs in racing shorts, or jockey shorts. Good for everyday use, but on a long bike ride I still need a Tena. Absorbs well. When I dispose of one at night, I can’t usually see that I’ve leaked, but it’s certainly heavier. Note: I’m a 70 yo male with a prostatectomy about 20 yeas ago. I don’t leak a lot except when getting up after sitting for a long time, biking, or drinking. And, the occasional sneeze. But, Everybody is different.

These are great! Very thin (hence, discrete) and they’re only 20 cents apiece! My wife recently started using them, too!!

These pads protect my underwear just enough. Each individual wrapped shield remains protected until unwrapped. The unwrapping exposes the sticky bands. I've encountered only two minor issues. At times the wide end is folded tightly in the package causing a crease that won't relax. So, it's difficult to get the shield to lay flat. The adhesive at times sticks tight enough to your underwear to cause the adhesive to pull loose from the shield when removing. This has only happened a few times. Pulling it slowly when removing helps.

I have been using Tena for years and never had a problem. I switched to these Depends because for a while Tena was not available for some reason. I started getting irritation in a sensitive area so I decided to return this product but could not because after 30 days Amazon ( and I found out Depends) will not take the product back or give me a refund. The case I have I haven't even used yet. I just ordered TENA. If you have never used this style pad from Depends, I suggest order a small quantity and make sure you don't develop irritation/rash like I did.

These pads are very discreet and have an adhesive so it sticks to your underwear but not skin. I'm 57 and never thought I would need these but they work very good. Small enough to fit in your bag or briefcase. They also come in a plain box so if your nervous about someone seeing them don't be. I am really satisfied with these and would recommend.

I have noted a detrimental change in the quality and "softness" of the "Shield" material that is in contact with my genitals. I am now getting skin irritation and infections, despite carrying two extra Shields in my pocket for the moment that I notice I need a change. I also seriously believe that Depends and the CVS brand are the same exact "Shield". They appear the same. Only their packaging is slightly different. I say that the pads appear to be made by the same manufacturer (does CVS buy from Depends?), because I am suddenly getting much more irritation while wearing either brand of them, and I have had two skin infections "down there" since the Christmas holiday season. I never really felt the thin Shield in my jockey style underwear before...they were comfortable. Now, I am constantly shifting things around trying not to be irritated. I am ~98% continent after a radical prostatectomy. I just wish I could get to that 100% point and stop using either brand of these Shields, but I need them for now, and I am perplexed as to what has changed??? Maybe Depends has changed their supplier and the content materials to save themselves money, but it has come at a noticeable price in their newly uncomfortable feel. I may have to try Tena brand to see if they are any better/softer.

Well i never thought i would have to use this product. The package is hard to find the edge to open it up to use it. Due to a surgery i had i hope its just for a short time. Now on to my experience, This pad does not breath. It causes the big fellow and his two neighbors belowto sweat more than they like . This causes more discomfort and im sure the need to wash your tool and balls more often. No wounder the opposite sex often had an odor in the bread box. If things are to moist you're going to have this issue. So keep them clean and fresh so they will still want to play together. good luck.

My 8 year old grandson has encopresis (involuntary leakage of feces). After trying many different possible remedies and failing, these pads (put with widest part to the back) have been a lifesaver for him. His underwear have mostly stayed clean and he can quickly roll up the pad and discard it in the garbage. Instead of 5 or 6 pairs of underwear soaking daily to get the feces and stains out, he can often wear one pair a day! Great self-confidence boost for the little guy! He feels good because these are made for men!

This is a wonderful product for men's hygiene. It's now one of my essentials. Let's not kid ourselves, guys. We all leak a bit after urinating. This product keeps my underwear fresh and clean without spots. It is very comfortable to wear, and molds to you from your body heat. Being dry all the time is wonderful as well as not worrying about leaking anymore. It even fits pouched underwear like Andrew Christian. It should be changed at least twice a day for maximum comfort. It is almost odorless, even after wearing for twelve hours. I would have used this product as a young adult years ago. Amazon pricing is the best and I will be reordering. Thanks Amazon and thanks to the inventors for a wonderful product that I didn't realize that I needed.
